Ducere Foundation is an Australian organisation with the conscience of a not-for-profit and the mindset of a global enterprise. Primarily funded through proceeds from Ducere Global Business School, the Foundation empowers African children to learn, lead and dream.

Children are extraordinary storytellers. We believe that every child has a spark of great potential, and it takes education and inspiration to set that spark alight. By publishing and distributing African Children’s Stories, we encourage young imaginations to flourish, and preserve cultural traditions.

We partner with local governments, universities, businesses and NGOs to help deliver our African Children Stories program across more than 20 African nations.

The launch of each publication is a time for community celebration of its child authors and their success, which ultimately influences the lives of thousands of children. Each book becomes a learning tool for the acceleration of literacy skills as well as giving children pride in their own culture and identity.

Over 550,000 stories have been distributed across 20 African countries. Over 50 collections have been published including stories” written by children from more than 20 African countries including:” then leave the names of the countries including Madagascar, Nigeria, Rwanda and Sierra Leone written by children in Zambia, Ghana, Kenya, Botswana, Tanzania and Uganda, with many more to come.

By improving the quality of public education in programs across Africa, we’re creating immediate and sustainable change in communities that need it most.
