Using these ador- able turtle designs we created a quilt in a blue and green color scheme which is great for a little boy, but change the colors to pink and green and it is perfect for a little girl. First, we embroidered each of the turtle de- signs on squares of beige colored knit fabric. Then we attached the embroidered squares to the green plaid seersucker fabric back- ground using rickrack and ribbon. This technique gives the baby quilt a unique look!
