About the companyBaby K’tan LLC was founded in 2007 by the Chesal and Wernick families. Both families had been close friends for years and found themselves each raising a child with special needs. Wanting to provide their babies with as much love and nourishment as possible, they turned to babywearing. They knew that carrying baby close to their heart would be a great way to promote a strong parent-baby bond as well as healthy development. But when the Chesal and Wernick families began their search for the perfect carrier, they found the options on the market to be confusing, difficult to use, or uncomfortable. They decided to take things into their own hands and created the Baby K’tan® Baby Carrier; a unique “ready to wear” wrap that combined style, ease of use, and comfort.

Baby K’tan LLC has since grown and expanded its product line, manufacturing innovative and functional products that help make parenting easier. A percentage of proceeds is donated to the American Heart Association and the National Down Syndrome Society.

The Baby K’tan Baby Carrier is an innovative “ready to wear” wrap. Its unique double-loop design func-tions as an all-in-one sling, wrap and baby carrier, yet does not require any wrapping or buckling. Simply slip it on like a t-shirt! The Baby K’tan is sized like clothing for the perfect fit (XS, S, M, L, XL) and offers multiple positions from 8-35 lb (consult physician for preemie).
