About Baby Bella Maya:

The Company: Founded in 2005 by Marta Sala-Rothwell and based in Newbury Park, California, Baby Bella Maya took the juvenile products industry by storm, receiving JPMA’s 2005 Innovation Award for their inaugural product an infant carrier slipcover. The company’s name, Baby Bella Maya is inspired by Marta’s first baby, the beautiful Maya. Bella means beautiful in Spanish. With a wide variety of coordinating gifts and accessories, Baby Bella Maya offers fashion forward products that are perfect to add mom’s personal style to any occasion.

The Appeal:Baby Bella Maya is relentless when looking for new and desirable fabrics for their products. The Founder Marta Sala-RothwellMarta is the mother of four daughters. Her first daughter Maya liked to be held as a baby and was often in her infant baby carrier. It wasn’t long before Marta grew tired of the same old baby carrier every day. She decided to make some slip covers to dress it up and express her sense of style. Soon she realized she couldn’t go anywhere without someone commenting on how much they loved her slip cover. “I just knew I had to do something”, she said, so she started Baby Bella Maya.
