Crystal = A clear, transparent mineral or glass resembling the transparent form of crystallized quartz.
Igneous Rock = Geology. Produced under conditions involving intense heat, as rocks of volcanic originor rocks crystallized from molten magma.
Metamorphic Rock = Rock that was once one form of rock but has changed to another under the influence of heat, pressure, or some other agent without passing through a liquid phase.
Mineral = A naturally occurring, hornogeneous inorganic solid substance having a definite chemical composition.
Sedimentary Rock = Rock that has formed through the deposition solidification of sediment, especially sediment transported by water ( rivers, lakes, and oceans), ice glaciers and wind.
What does Azurite Look Like?
My mineral Azurite is a deep blue mineral. It is a basic carbonate of copper and is exceptionally deep and clear.

Azurite is found in lots of places. It is found the United States, in Arizona, and in New Mexico, as well as France at Chessy.
What are Azurite’s uses?
Azurite is used for ornamental purposes and has been used as a blue mineral pigment for centuries. Azurite has also been used in jewelry.

Azurite is one of two basic copper (II) carbonate minerals being bright green malachite, a mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits.
