A Z H E R I Q B A L , M DIt is my pleasure to invite you to the 14th Annual VIA Symposium. This yearly educational gathering has become a cherished annual Western New York event which brings new cutting edge minimally invasive image guided treatment modality updates. These are presented by renowned experts from around the country to primary care providers in our community.

Over last few meetings, we have included thought provoking leader discussions about trends and changes in medical care delivery. We think that this is very pertinent and timely. These changes will affect practice of medicine, especially at the primary care level. We have again included a couple of very interesting talks on these topics.

We are honored to have Dr. Nelson Hopkins as our keynote speaker. Dr. Hopkins is world renowned for his innovations in neurovascular interventions. Dr. Hopkins is a native Buffalonian who has also changed care delivery model in Buffalo. He has been a proponent of team approach before the word was known in the halls of medicine.

We are very excited to give you updates on DVT management, vascular disease management, perspectives on women’s health and neurovascular interventions with national and internationally renowned experts such as Dr. Ari Isaacson, Dr. Jay Bishop, Dr. Nicos Labropoulos, Dr. Adnan Siddiqui, Dr. John Lipman, Dr. Maciej Dryjski, Dr. Robert Tahara, Dr.Julie Madejski and Dr. Irfan Khan.

I hope that you will enjoy this symposium!
