Although many carriers and private operators are migrating

their networks to packet technologies to lower costs and

support IP-based services, there remains an enormous

installed base of devices that use TDM, analog or low speed

data connections, which depend on PDH and SDH/SONETtransport. At the same time, the rapid introduction of

Ethernet equipment creates a special challenge for network

operators, who maintain extensive legacy TDM infrastructure

and need to economically manage a myriad of interfaces,

    protocols, topologies, and media.

For close to 30 years, RAD Data Communications has been

working closely with its worldwide customers in various

industry sectors, to address their multiservice access and

First Mile requirements with customized system solutions

that provide exibility, efciency and carrier-class reliability.

RADs rich AXCESS+ portfolio enables cost-effective service

extension over copper, fber and wireless access. The productlineup also provides aggregation and trafc hand-o to SDH/SONET and packet switched networks (PSNs), and smooths

the migration to packet access without having to replaceeither existing customer-located devices or central ofceracks.

RAD is the preferred communications vendor for many

carriers, service providers, utilities, private network operators,

and system integrators around the world. With the help of

an in-house team o network specialists and 250 certifedRAD partners in more than 150 countries, we harness our

technological excellence and customer commitment to deliver

high quality, low TCO solutions and to ensure our customers

are completely satisfed with their decision to rely on RAD.
