AWWA ACE 2019: MUELLER HIGHLIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE MISSEDAttendees of the 2019 AWWA ACE Conference were treated to the latest innovations in the water industry. With so much to see and learn you may have missed key Mueller products and solutions, here are a few new product highlights.

• The Centrex Water Intelligence Platform – Centrex Water Intelligence Technology is a unique hub of information that helps with analytical and strategic decisions, as well as day-to-day water distribution and utility operation. The Centrex platform provides utilities with unique insights into the health of the distribution system. Using Mueller® fire hydrants as a communications backbone and battery powered state-of-the-art sensors, utilities will be able to understand how their distribution system is performing like never before.

• The new and improved Super Centurion® – Our dry barrel hydrant now includes corrosion resistance, serviceability and performance improvements.

• Krausz products integrated with Mueller products – The Mueller integral HYMAX® restraints for valves and hydrants provides utilities with a solution that has restraints installed on valves and hydrants to avoid the hassle of performing extra operation to install restraints on pipes in the ditch.

OUR NEW SMART CITY RACEFor ACE 2019 we created a fun new way for attendees to take a break while learning more about our products and solutions. Our new Smart City Race gave attendees a chance to compete head-to-head against their industry peers for a chance to win prizes and compete for the grand prize – a custom NFL fan chest.

MUELLER CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP The 2019 AWWA ACE conference was a special moment for Cassidy Yates, winner of the Mueller Continuing Education Scholarship for $5,000. The check being appropriately made out to ‘Your Water Industry Future.’

Young professionals like Cassidy are the Future of the Water Industry. This incredible young woman has dedicated her college career to the research of water quality, repair of water main leaks, and meter repair. Congratulations Cassidy!

MUELLER MOBILE TRAINING VAN HEADS NORTH For over 100 years, Mueller has provided product training to municipalities and contractors throughout the United States. We divide the country into four districts and each Summer and Fall we travel throughout a different district conducting between 25- 50 training classes. We partner and work very closely with our distributors who sponsor these classes to provide training for the end user attendees.

This year for the first time ever, we have brought our training to Canada and are traveling coast to coast. We began the mobile training season in Langley, British Columbia on April 24th and will conclude in Windsor, Ontario on Sep 23rd. To date, we have conducted 12 classes in six Provinces for 707 attendees. There are 13 classes remaining. Once the 2019 season is complete we will have traveled and conducted training in nine provinces for approximately 1,500 attendees.
