SAP HANA Cloud Instances Based on Amazon Web Services: Initial Configuration 1) Wait about 20 minutes after you start your instance to do the following tasks. There are several delivery units that are auto-imported during startup and you must wait till they run completely. Once you see the SAP_HANA_EPM_DEMO schema, and the sap, workshop, and workshop-uis packages as shown below, you should be able to proceed.

SAP HANA Cloud Instances Based on Amazon Web Services: Initial Configuration

1) Wait about 20 minutes after you start your instance to do the following tasks. There are severaldelivery units that are auto-imported during startup and you must wait till they run completely.Once you see the SAP_HANA_EPM_DEMO schema, and the sap, workshop, and workshop-uispackages as shown below, you should be able to proceed.

2) Make sure the _SYS_REPO user id has EXECUTE authorizations for DEBUG, JAVASCRIPT_DEBUG,and REPOSITORY_REST and make sure to set the “Grantable to Others” radiobutton to “Yes”.

3) Because _SYS_REPO did not have the proper authorizations previously, there were a coupleroles which were not generated in the workshop.admin.roles package. Now that _SYS_REPOhas the correct authorizations, you can reimport the WORKSHOP delivery unit. You should thensee two roles workshop.admin.roles::workshop_admin andworkshop.admin.roles::workshop_user under the “Roles” node under security. You can find theWORKSHOP delivery unit athttp://help.sap.com/openSAP/HANA1/openSAP_HANA1_Week_01_Delivery_Units.zip. Youshould only have to reimport the WORKSHOP delivery unit.

4) Add the sap.hana.democontent.epm.data::model_admin role andworkshop.admin.role::workshop_admin role to your user profile. Also to make sure thecurrency conversion works right, add either 000 or 001 as your Session Client on your account:

5) Go to the data generator and check the checkboxes for “Reload Master Data”, “Reload Seed”,and “Create Synonyms”. Click “Execute”.

6) Review the log and check the chart for number of records.
