Operation

Straight Drop Awnings can be driven by a motor, and operated via a mounted wall switch or hand held remote control; or they can manually operated via a removable crank handle. The motors can be hardwired, or integrated with a lighting and energy management system such as C-Bus. Sun and wind sensors are also available with the motorised option.

Folding Arm Awnings are retractable sun protection units that are cantilevered and self-supporting and therefore do not require any additional posts for installation. They are commonly used to shade large decks, patio’s and outdoor entertaining areas. They can be either motorised and operated via a wall switch or hand held remote control, or manually operated via a removable crank handle.

SPECIAL SySTEM

Fast Coupling System

The Fast Coupling System can quickly and easily couple the drive shaft to the gears. It is necessary to fix the motors support in the proper seat. On the other side, let the gear slide outwards until the two gears are coupled. The motor will always be balanced with the dragging belt without needing supports. In this way, it is integrated in the structure. Finally, the two security cases enclose the system, ensuring its safety from damage. Maintenance is simple with this system because the disassembling and the assemblage are quick.

Quick Block System

The Quick Block System allows the fastening of the carriage to the horizontal and main terminal bar profile. This bayonet coupling with its blocking system makes the installation and maintenance easier and quicker. The awnings weight is supported by the carriage with an extruded aluminium adjustable bracket. This is fixed on the aluminium horizontal profile in order to guarantee positive traction. weather Strip System

The Weather Strip System makes the installation of the fabrics easier. The fabrics are separated and sealed with a special cord and gaskets, which are then inserted in to the horizontal profile. They are then further sealed with the pressure insertion of nail/shaped gaskets. The ensures the waterproofing is complete. The Weather Strip system gives the option of having separated fabrics, so if necessary, only one fabric band can be replaced instead of not the entire fabric of the awning.
