For those who love to buy quirky funky odd stuff here's some of my favorite online shopping

sites. Have bought from them for personal use and also dared to test my bizarre innovative

gifting etiquette on friends ....

1. Happily Unmarried

Isn't the name cool enough!.. the site is a pleasure to go through..products are crazily created … a

pleasure to display at home. Have even gifted their shotglasses and coasters to friends..loved to

see their reaction!

2. Exciting Lives

As the name says, products are so very exciting…you may spend next half an hour going

through their various product categories! They do share some of their products with Happily

Unmarried, but no doubt the site boasts of a more diverse range to select from!

3. Picsquare

This store has a big collection of personalized gift items as in key chains, mugs, T-shirts, posters,

books, shoulder bags, mousepads, puzzles…even chocolates with personalized photo wrappers,

besides the usual photo greeting cards, calendars, albums and frames.

4. SurpriseCube

Another store with a big collection of personalized stones, crystals, wall murals, wall clocks,

tiles, pillow covers etc. Gifts suitable for various occasions and festivities, including offers with

cakes, flowers and jewelry items as well.


5. Panchatatva

If you’re looking for extremely innovative traditional handcrafted gifts, artifacts, curios and collectibles,

this is the place to see. Panchatatva is clearly appealing for its refreshingly original ideas, innovative

designs, imaginative choice of colours and material …and a good range of products, from kitchen

hangings to wall murals to name plates and brackets. Though slightly higher priced than some of the

above stores, the quality and designs are things to vouch for!


6. Chumbak

Totally funky, jazzy, colourful products for informal gifting.. right from teeny-weeny tit-bits like charms,

phone covers, zipper pulls, keychains, magnets to t-shirts, mugs, stationary, handmade soap, candles, …


7. Haathi Chaap

Whoever thought that elephant poo would make such fine paper..and such exquisite stationary

products, photo frames, coasters and diaries! But disappointingly there’s no online purchase option. You

need to visit the stores where you actually see many more products than those displayed online! My son

got gifted with a cute gulel once and that’s when I saw the label and sought out for the store…guess

what? i bought kid’s games like pithoo, snakes n ladders and activity books for my son’s friends, they

sure were greatly appreciated!

You can also check out the website of another store where they display their products - People Tree.

No online purchase option here too but they have a good collection of eco-friendly products.


8. Quirko

All-in-all quirky stuff here..kumbh karan bean bag, tooth pick holders, pehelwan mug to buri nazar

coasters, dollar bill toilet paper, cheeky car stickers and so on!


9. Go Gifts

It definitely goes with its theme.. “Think quirky. Gift quirky.” So what you find here are..unusual clocks,

massage cushions, toilet phones, bikini phones, secret safe book (I find it great for gifting!), motorsports

series with mini models..go on..whet your appetite!


10. India Circus

Beautiful online store..myriad of colours! Ethnic elegant stuff here, pure delight to surf through…pick

what you like!
