Anthony Constantinou attended TheLondon School of Medicine at QueenMary, University of London where he wasa fellow at Post-Doctoral Research. At thattime, he worked on the project sponsoredby the NIHR and named “Improving RiskManagement in Mental Health Services.”The project involved the use of Bayesiannetwork models in the development ofdecision backup for risk management andrisk assessment of violent conduct inForensic Psychiatry.

In 2012, Anthony Constantinou completedhis Ph.D after the Engineering and PhysicalSciences Research Council awarded him andfounded a complete scholarship of threeyears and half in the United Kingdom. Thetitle of his thesis was “ Bayesian networks fordecision making, risk assessment, andprediction in an inefficient AssociationFootball gamblingmarket.”

The school of EECS nominated his thesisfor the best British Ph.D/DPhil papers inComputer Science competition of2013/2014. The Council of Professors andHeads of Computing and British ComputerSociety manages the competition.

During his thesis, Anthony Constantinouwas a research member at Queen Mary,University of London, of the School ofElectronic Engineering and ComputerScience and Risk And InformationManagement Research Group.

Primarily, Professor Norman Fentonsupervised his thesis and Professor MartinNeil did it secondary. Constantinoureceived a scholarship from Impact QMEPSRC during his third year in Ph.D.

The purpose of the award was to developeconomic impact by improving industrialand academic research in the UnitedKingdom through collaboration.

Between 2009 and 2013, AnthonyConstantinou worked as a GraduateTeaching Assistant for SoftwareEngineering and Theory, ProceduralProgramming, and Software RiskAssessment. The Faculty of Engineeringand Information Sciences from Universityof Hertfordshire awarded Constantinou adegree of M.Sc with Distinction in ArtificialIntelligence with Robotics.
