after a while elisabeth really began to enjoy working with windows and thought to herself, “if we can make drapes from bed sheets, we can also make them from fabrics.” soon after it became, “if we can make drapes for bedrooms we can also make them for living, dining, family rooms, etc…”

elisabeth sold her last store in 1990 and became the Drape Lady literally overnight. “i began working from my residence, which proved to have been one of my best business decisions ever,” she explains. “i didn’t really need a store

any longer as i was with my clients all day anyway.”
