Dave has been a driving force in Washington’s Certified Residential Specialist organization. He consistently challenges the leadership team to not only dream big but to make it happen. Dave single-handedly orchestrated what would have been a highly successful first-ever CRS educational cruise to Alaska. Then COVID struck and a cruise was out of the question. Dave didn’t skip a beat. His leadership through the unprecedented challenges of this year bonded the leadership team and set a true example of leadership in challenging times. We honor Dave’s hard work and volunteer spirit as we present him with the CRS of the Year Award.

Lysa is a huge supporter of Seattle King County REALTORS® as she has sponsored many events over the years, including our Awards & Installation Banquet, Battle of the Barristers, YPN Happy Hours, and this year’s Annual Affiliate food drive and YPN Drive-In movie night, and more. She has shown dedication to the Association as she has been a Diamond, Platinum, and currently a Sapphire Annual Affiliate. Lysa is also well-respected in her career as a Sr. Loan Consultant at Caliber Home Loans, Inc. Lysa is Caliber’s Top Producer, a ten-year winner of the Seattle Five Star Mortgage Professional, a multi-year winner of Mortgage Executives Top 1% Mortgage Originators, a three-year winner of AREAA Top Originators and is ranked by Scotsman Guide as one of the top ten female originators in the nation.

Pam is a Major Investor, regularly attends Hill Day, regularly participates on candidate interviews, has chaired the Black Diamond Planning Commision since 2017, and was instrumental in the litigation and recall efforts of Black Diamond city councilmembers who wanted to stop the Master Planned Development of 6,000 housing units and who violated the Open Public Meetings Act. She was also instrumental in the election/re-election of three individuals on the Black Diamond City Council who were private property advocates. Pam has made it a priority to support REALTOR® issues legislatively and had spearheaded changes in ADU policy to make more ADUs available for homeowners. Pam has been a proud REALTOR® since 1981.

This award recognizes outstanding achievement in providing real estate education to practicing brokers. Annie serves as Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline Attorney, as well as providing a variety of other legal services for WR. She authors the WR legal hotline question and answer of the week and produces numerous Friday videos on real estate legal topics. These tools are used by brokers across the state for training and education. Annie is well known to our members for her annual participation in Battle of the Barristers, always offering a legal interpretation that is sharp, on-target and challenges opinions of her fellow attorneys. She served on the task force that drafted the Agency Law From 1994 to 1996 and the task force that worked in 2004 and 2005 considering revisions to the Licensing Law, RCW 18.85. Her personal priority is to ensure that no Washington REALTOR® is ever sued again for something they could have avoided.

Dahni is finishing her third year as one of your REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Trustees. She was the RPAC Chair in 2019 and chaired the RPAC Wine and Spirits auction. As a RPAC Trustee, Dahni is responsible for helping to raise funds for candidates and issues. Dahni also sits on the Washington REALTORS® RPAC Trustee Board. Advocating for our industry is important to Dahni which is why she has been a Major Investor in RPAC since 2019 and a member of the Presidents Circle since 2019. Dahni thanks everyone for this award and asks you to please remember to invest in RPAC.

The REALTOR® Achievement Award recognizes an outstanding accomplishment or a cumulative body of work on behalf of the Association or industry. Shane is an example of doing it all as a REALTOR®. He has held nearly every leadership position in the organization, from President to VP of GA, RPAC Trustee and State Director, NWMLS Board member to Regional Representative on the WR Executive Committee. Shane has given his time, knowledge and expertise generously to these volunteer activities, a rare thing for a brokerage owner. But besides the hard work and enthusiasm which he embodies, Shane brought perspective to his many leadership roles. He always challenged the Board to think in new ways, to be advocates for the industry and to be proud of the ideals and dreams that REALTORS® represent. An outstanding achievement.

Garrett was a founding member of the Seattle King County REALTORS® Young Professionals Network in 2010 and served as the Chairperson of YPN in 2011. His brokerage helped put on the first YPN event where they were able to meet and recruit members to join the first YPN board. Garrett served as the YPN board member on the Seattle King County REALTORS® board in 2012 and attended one of the first National YPN leadership meetings. Since then, he has been active on and off on the YPN committee. Garrett shared that YPN has helped him learn more about the Association and the network has given him the opportunity to participate on more committees in the Association.

Mike ConnollyWindermere RE/Central Inc. | Kirkland

Mike has been a REALTOR® member for 39 years. As a franchise owner, he has repeatedly welcomed Seattle King County REALTORS® leadership to speak to his brokers about the value of member involvement at the local, state, and national levels. Mike’s professional involvement and commitment is vast. A past chair of the NWMLS Board, Mike has worked on numerous forms committees, arbitration & disciplinary hearings, and task force work. When asked to step up and serve at the state and national REALTOR® levels as a NAR Director, Mike did so without hesitation. He is an exceptional example of a civic-minded, community-invested, knowledgeable, and well-respected REALTOR®. Mike is a leader that inspires others with a genuine, humble, and caring character.

When Julie is not busy helping her clients, she can often be found volunteering for the Kirkland Oktoberfest, Summerfest and 4th of July committees. She has also been organizing the Kirkland Summer Concert series for the last seven years. She sits on the Kirkland Events Foundation and Kirkland Downtown Association (KDA) boards, and served as the KDA president in 2018. She has also been president of the Juanita Neighborhood Association. If there is something going on in Kirkland she’s usually there! In addition, she volunteers for Operation Nightwatch and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Julie has served on the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Board for the last three years, and will be the 2021 President.

Leslie and her husband are the founders of the non-profit, Mamma’s Hands, a 2-part program that helps the homeless. Mamma’s Hands began in 1990 working with Seattle’s homeless to reconnect them with family. Since its inception, Mamma’s Hands has sent more than 1,500 homeless and runaways back to family. Today, their primary focus is on the House of Hope which began in 1994. The House of Hope is a long term shelter that serves women and children in crisis and provides on-site counseling, case management, parenting and other educational programs. Leslie is currently the Chairwoman of the Board and has been heavily involved both as a member of the board and in day-to-day operations. Her biggest responsibility has been their annual fundraiser where the goal is to reach at least half of their annual budget - their first ever virtual event this year was a big success. Leslie, her husband, and their five children continuously contribute their time, energy and money to keep this program moving forward.
