AutoBodyBuddies

Campers will learn the basic concepts of auto body including: using hand tools, spray gun set up, primary/secondary colors, measuring, fabricating, safety, and the use of our virtual painter. The campers will be �nishing a metal license plate or mailbox. Upon completion, they will �nal polish their project to achieve a �awless �nish.

AutomotiveMuscle Masters

The focus of this camp is home service fundamentals and safe working conditions. The items stressed include: �uid examinations, checking tire pressure, changing oil, �lters, wiper blades and tires. Campers will work on actual vehicles, use common hand tools and experience a professional shop environment. Certi�cations and awards will be presented on day four.

Beauty 101

The focus of this camp is to teach the basic concepts of hair care, skin care, nail care and proper make-up application. All applications will be performed on themselves or a mannequin (provided for use).

ConstructionWorkers Inc

Campers will utilize the same building techniques as used in residential framing industry to build a 1/8 scale ranch style house. They will also have the opportunity to wire household electrical switches and outlets, and lay brick and block. Shop safety, hand/power tool usage and blueprint reading are also part of our four day experience. The students will take their model house and a starter tool set home with them to remember their great experience for years to come.

GameCoders

Summer camp attendees will explore computer programming using popular game design engines and other educational programming platforms. Basic games will be designed, developed, and tested.

Graphic Design

In Graphic Design Camp, students will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the art and graphic design �eld. Professional graphic design software, like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, will be used to create awesome class projects. On the �nal day, campers will create their own t-shirts, personalized water bottles and more!

HVACFurnace Fixers

Students will enjoy hands on learning while completing various projects relating to the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) �eld. Projects will include soldering a copper tubing project, installing an electrical circuit, constructing a metal box from sheet metal and using our virtual welder. Campers will also learn tool, shop and electrical safety before working with numerous pieces of equipment.

Passport toCulinaryArts

Enroll in our Passport to Culinary Arts Cooking Camps and learn how to prepare Ethnic Foods from around the world. Students will prepare ethnically based menu items and have their "passport" stamped as they master each skill. Camp 1 - American Regional Cuisine and Oriental Cuisine. Camp 2 - Italian Cuisine and Mexican Cuisine. Each camp is 2 days and runs 8 hours, each day. Lunch Included. Enroll in one or both and experience food from around the world.

Campers are to examine the concept of space exploration. Campers will construct and launch rockets, design a Moon base, give updates on the latest Martian Rover news, and examine the history of space exploration. Students will be able to keep their rockets and the requirements for the Space Exploration Merit Badge for B.S.A. will be covered.

Rocketry

Robo CampFuture roboticists and engineers can gain experience and have fun exploring careers in robotics by learning about the concepts of teamwork, planning, brainstorming, prototyping, programming, building and testing robots to function and compete with other robots. Friday will be a robot competition andice cream party for campers and their parents.

Vive laFrench Pastries

Have you ever wondered what it takes to make 3D graphics in movies and video games? Have you ever wished you had the chance to create those things yourself? In this high tech exploratory camp, you’re going to have your chance. Using the 3D software Sketch Up, you will complete a series of four di�erent challenges over four days. We’ll start easy by making something simple and by the �nal day you’ll have your chance to push the software to its limits and make a creation out of your own imagination!

3DDesign Works

This camp will focus on developing storylines, characters, writing perspective, as well as other tools necessary to write a �ction story. Students will share their writings with their peers. A formal reading with parents will be on the last day so that students can read their work, if desired, to show o� their talents. Students just need to bring their imagination!

We will explore the “Magni�que” world of French Patisserie, preparing, baking, decorating, and of course eating four “Classique” French Biscuits (cookies): Palmiers, Langues de Chat, Sables a la con�ture, Biscuit au Beurre, culminating with the creation of the classic dessert, Paris Brest.
