there have been two versions applied, a ‘green’ circuit board and a ‘silver’ circuit board. they are identically in dimensions and electronics value, main difference is the connection to the cable:

1 – silver board: 10-pin connector

2 – green board: attached 10-core flat cable

NOTE: some of those cirquit boards have been modified for other use than avalon guitar. in particular, for the use in acoustic guitars the wireing may have changed or reversed.

the original avalon push-lock connector is a standard industrial NEUTRIK, called neutricon. it is available as two versions, one with circular round-pins and one with fin-contacts. paradis used the fins. the neutricon consists of several parts which have to be ordered all separately for a working set.
