Reading on

Your Computer

Go to the library‟s website, sctylib.org and click on the icon for Flipster.

If you have used your library account before, enter the barcode number or username and password. If you haven‟t used your account before, enter your barcode number and leave the password space blank. When you hit „login‟ you will be prompted to enter and confirm a password.

You will then be taken to the Flipster website where you can view our selection of magazines. Click on the cover of the magazine you wish to read.

The magazine will open in your web browser. Along the right side are arrows for turning the pages, an option to select older issues, the ability to zoom in and to print pages.

Download the free Flipster app from you device‟s app store. Then follow the same steps listed for read-ing magazines on the computer. However when the magazine opens up in your web browser, tap on the menu icon, the 3 hori-zontal lines at the top left.

Tap on “Open In App”

The magazine will begin downloading into the app, once it has completely downloaded you can tap on the cover and begin reading! The issue will be there for a week and can be read offline.
