Building a Popplet

Step 1: Click anywhere on the blank canvas area.

A “pop” or textbox will appear. Type the content (which may be a step process, or idea that is expanded upon in other pops)

Use the bottom menu to:-Change the color of the border of the pop (may help with organization)

-Draw within the pop

-Select “Picture” icon on Bottom Menu

-Upload images(Computer/Flickr)-Upload Video(Vimeo/Youtube)

In the pop-up, search for video name and select it. It is now embedded and will play through the pop.

Step 2: Creating a “sub” pop:

-Click on the original pop -Choose the grey connector-Drag the new pop anywhere on the canvas-Type in the new pop

-You can then make “sub” “sub” pops

Keep going until you have created all of your “sub”

pops and “sub” “sub” pops!

Suggestion: Use varying colors for the outline of different groups of “sub” pops.

Collaborate with Popplet

On the far right of the account homepage will be a “Share” icon.- “Add a Collaborator” to allow

others to work on popplet- Search for their name (if you

don’t have their email).

On the far right of the account homepage will be a “Share” icon.

You can share your popplet via:

-Facebook -Email-Twitter -Copy/Paste Link-Embed Link (websites/wikis)

Popplet Menu Bar

Within the Popplet interface, you have access to several settings

allowing you to edit more than just the pops on the canvas.

Use the Zoom feature to view your popplet as a whole or in specific

pieces.

Change the background color of your popplet.

On the far right, choose to view popplet in full screen.

Also, provide feedback to Popplet!

Popplet Settings

Most settings are located within the menu bar area.

-Organize/align pops-Export to PDF

-Print-Copy Entire Popplet

Presenting Popplet

Choose “View” and “Presentation Mode” from Settings

-Choose “record” and select the pops in the order you would like to

present them. -When ready, choose “present.” Screen will scroll into pops (use

arrows to move around.) (Similar to Prezi).
