She is in the deep, mythic forests of New England, far from the hectic city life.
The rays of the low sun peer through the window of the river cottage. She notices the heavy morning dew on the grass outside and sees the birds in the open sky migrate to new distant lands.
Meanwhile, her memories of the hot and happy summer days evaporate. But they do so without nostalgia because for her, autumn is a new beginning.
A season of immense beauty, where the sharp colours of summer give way to a vastness of elegant mustard yellow, kid orange, autumn green, brown and greyish hues.
