CORRECT YOUR BROTHER ONLY FOR LOVE On the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, we find: "The choice of evil is an abuse of liberty, which leads to slavery of sin." We know that sin is an offense to God, it keep us away from Him

and ultimately, destroys us. If someone we know has objectively chosen evil (even if he does

not consider it that way), we can fall into an attitude that makes us think that it would be best not to get into his life and let him do what he thinks is most convenient.

However, in today’s Gospel, Jesus is asking us something else, out of love: "If your brother commits sin, go and warn him when alone ... If he listens to you, you will have saved your brother."

In tune with this is the practice of various works of spiritual mercy; Counsel the doubtful, instruct the ignorant, Forgive offenses willingly; Pray to God for the living and the dead.

That is also a way to love our neighbor as ourselves LIFE FOR MY SAKE, WILL FIND IT”

CORREGIR AL HERMANO SOLO POR AMOR En el n.363 del Compendio del Catecismo de la Iglesia Catolica, encontramos:”La eleccion del mal es un abuso de la libertad, que conduce a la esclavitud del pecado”. Sabemos que el pecado es una ofensa a Dios, nos aleja de el y a

final de cuentas nos destruye a nosotros mismos. Si alguien que conocemos ha elegido-objetivamente-un mal

(aunque el no lo considere asi), Podemos caer en una ctitud que nos haga pensar que lo major seria no meternos en su vida y dejarlo que haga lo que crea mas conveniente.

Sin embargo, en el evangelio de hoy, Jesus nos pide otra cosa , partiendo del amor: “Si tu hermano comete un pecado, ve y amonestalo a solas...Si te escucha, habras salvado a tu hermano”.

En sintonia con eso esta la practica de diversas obras de Misericordia espirituales;

Dar buen consejo al que lo necesita; corregir al que esta en error; Perdonar las injurias; Rogar a Dios por vivos y difuntos.

Eso tambien es una forma de amar a nuestro projimo como a nosotros mismos

Que no se endurezcan nuestros corazones (Sal), sino que nos alejemos del pecado (1). En el amor que      temenos los unos por los otros (2), tal vez se nos llame a confrontar a nuestra hermana y hermano por el mal que pudiesen estar haciendo.
