Apprenticeships play a key role in making sure that people of all ages and backgrounds can fulfil their potential and go as far as their talent and hard work will take them. There has never been a better time to employ an apprentice.

Since 2015 there have been over 1.2 million new apprenticeship starts and the Government’s reforms will continue to increase the quality and quantity of apprenticeships, and encourage employers to invest in the skills they need to succeed and grow.

The National Apprenticeship Shows are an excellent way for young people and their parents to meet employers who are offering a range of fantastic apprenticeships, face to face, all in one place. They also enable employers to meet talented young people who will make up the workforce of the future. I would encourage all businesses to consider how employing an apprentice can help them grow.
