Supplemental Baseball TrainingAges 9-11This 6-week training program is designed for the player who is currently in, will begin, or has just completed a baseball league (house or travel). Each 90-minute class will be devoted to getting players more repetitions (ground balls, flyballs, etc.) they may be missing in practice with their own team. The program's goal is to comprehensively create a solid base of fundamentals and muscle memory that each player retains moving into their current or upcoming season. Our focus will be on Infield, Outfield, and Hitting. Pitching and Base Running will be touched upon at the coaches discretion, but is not the primary focus of the program. Attaining these fundamentals will allow each player to start building on the more advanced technical aspects of the game down the road. Girls are absolutely welcome to train in the program, but the focus will be on baseball, not softball.Instructor: Hot Shots SportsLocation: Constitution Park Softball FieldBring: Glove, baseball cleats, protective gear (cup), hat/visor, baseball pants, a bat (highly encouraged), labeled water bottle, and face mask.

Lightning Prediction SystemThe lightning detection system is located at Keystone, Constitution, Centennial, and Priory Parks. It will be operational from April through November, 8:00 am-10:00 pm daily.

When conditions indicate that a lightning occurrence is probable, a signal is sent to the horns located in the parks providing an 8-15 minute warning to clear the area and seek safe shelter.

The warning system will be tested the first Tuesday of each operating month at 10:35 am, immediately following the test of the Village Civil Defense Warning Siren.
