Speed Set Plate Clamp

The Speed Set-Plate Clamps in Autoprint Dion 450+, comes with

Register Pin Location and Reference Scales. This simplifies Plate

Changing, significantly reducing 'make-ready' time, enhancing

productivity and ensuring precise registration.

Precise Grippers

Autoprint Dion 450+ comes with a

robust and rigid gripper design which

ensures reliable and precise sheet

gripping and transfer of sheets from

45 - 400 gsm at both low and high

speeds.

Cross Feed Sensor with Front Lay Lock

Any cross sheet in the front lay can be

detected with the help of Cross Sheet

Sensor. Whenever double sheet and cross

feed is detected, the pneumatic system

automatically locks the front lay and the

paper will not be fed into the cylinder. The

feeder will also be cut off automatically. Pull Type Side Lay on Both Sides

A facility for aligning paper and maintaining precise registration during

printing on either side of the paper. A dial knob is provided for fine

adjustment 'on-the-run'.

Inking Unit

The Inking Unit is equipped with 18 Inking Rollers, including

4 Oscillators and 3 Form Rollers on each colour head, which

ensures high quality printing even at high speeds. The Ink Form

Rollers are mounted on ball-bearings for smooth transfer of ink to

the Plate Cylinder. The Gear-Driven Oscillators ensure better ink

grinding and transfer of thin film of ink to the plate cylinder. In case

the printing is interrupted, the contact between the Ink Form Rollers

and the Plate Cylinder is automatically disconnected.

Simultaneously, the supply of ink from the Ink Duct is stopped,

preventing excess ink flow on subsequent sheets.

Kompac Automatic Dampening System

Autoprint Dion 450+ comes with a Kompac Automatic

Dampening System from USA, as standard equipment. The

Kompac System, among the best in the world, prints a thinner

film of ink and water, enabling jobs to be turned over faster. This

System is also ideally suited to run larger solids, complicated

screens, tiny reverses and difficult jobs, with no scum in an

efficient manner. The incorporation of the Kompac System

results in 50% reduction in paper wastage and an average

increase in production of 30 minutes per shift. This allows the

System to typically pay for itself in less than 6 months.

Blanket Jam Sensor

monitors the printed sheets and

in case the sheets are interrupted

anywhere on the blanket or

during transfer, the machine

stops immediately with a warning

and provides relevant feedback of the press operating

Powder Spray Unit

The Anti Set-Off Powder Spray Unit

facilitates faster drying of ink on the

printed output. Consequently, there is no

impression on the reverse of the next

paper. The timing of the Anti Set-Off

Powder Spray Unit is synchronized with

the speed of the Press, allowing for a

precise quantity of powder to be sprayed

on the printed sheets.

Ultrasonic Double Sheet Detector

This Double Sheet Detector is more

reliable in detecting double sheets. This

Ultrasonic Detector automatically adjusts

and resets for all ranges of paper

thickness.

Suction Foot Mechanism

The Feeding System is equipped

with a unique self-adjusting

piston-actuated suction foot

mechanism which ensures

trouble-free feeding of paper

stocks from 45 - 400 gsm. The

suction heads are laterally

adjustable according to the

paper width.

No Sheet Detector

The Electro-mechanical No Sheet

feed and automatically disengages

the impression cylinder.
