Introducing our new fully automated NanoChip®XL analyzer:

FASTER. SIMPLER. SMARTER.

When the BEST

becomes Better!

The NanoChip®XL analyzer is a novel bench-top molecular microarray system enabling fully automated high throughput testing of DNA/RNA yielding results in the same working day with minimal hands-on time.

Applications include Infectious Diseases, Genetic Screening, Pharmacogenetics, Cancer Genetics and Carrier Predisposition to diseases, enabling medium-high throughput labs to combine all their molecular testing on one simple screening platform.

®XL analyzer:

FastImproved robotics and optical mechanism- faster cartridge initialization allowing for shorter run time

RobustAutomated maintenance procedure and optical normalization

Load & GoPCR On board allows for loading the PCR plate, reagents and cartridge, Pressing START and that’s it…you are all set!

Friendly & Flexible Very simple operation, including

touch screen option Up to 4 different assays in the same

run and on the same cartridge

It’s as simple as 1,2...

The NanoChip®XL System is an automated platform capable of detecting multiple targets for individual samples, and of analyzing multiple samples on the same electronic microarray with walk-away automation. When using the NanoChip®XL System, molecular diagnostics labs are offered flexibility, cost savings and ease of use in a wide range of applications such as pathogen sequence detection, SNP genotyping and pharmacogenetics testing. CE-IVD approved kits are available for various applications.

The New System

1. Dispense the Master Mix to each well containing the extracted DNA sample.Seal the PCR plate with Microplate seals and load into the NanoChip®XL thermo cycler (PCR block)

2. Load the NanoChip® cartridge and reagents and start the run

NanoChip® Electronic Microarray Technology

The NanoChip® cartridge is the heart of our technology. It houses a CMOS semiconductor microchip, or “smart chip”, called the NanoChip®.

There are 400 test sites available on the NanoChip®, with each test site individually controlled by 12 electrical connections, which allow users to design and run molecular tests. Additionally, the smart chip technology allows for memory of which test siteshave been previously used.

Each test site consists of the silicon CMOS circuitry, platinum electrode and permeable gel layer. Digital commands are sent to indicate which individual test sites are to be activated by applying a positive or negative charge.

The permeable gel layer covering the chip contains streptavidin, which is utilitzed to non-covalently attach biotinylated DNA molecules (or capture oligos) to the test site. The strength of this streptavidin-biotin bond allows the amplicon to remain attached to the activated test site while excess amplicons are washed away, preventing cross contamination.
