The story takes place at a farm. There is a house and a barn with fields and woods nearby. There is a trail that leads through the woods. It is in the month of December around Christmas time. There is snow on all of the trees and blanketing the landscape.

There are five main characters in the story. One of the main characters is Twilight; he was the white unicorn. There are three girls. Their names are Lauren, Carla and Anna. They are all friends and did almost everything together. Carla and Anna, who were from the city, came to visit Lauren for a while. The last character is Mrs. Foster. She is the mother of Lauren.

The plot of the story is about Lauren being excited about her friends, Anna and Carla, coming to visit her from the city. When they arrive, she gets disappointed because no one seems to be getting along. She spends a lot of time and effort to try and make them get along by doing different fun things like shopping and riding her horse,Twilight.

Lauren is also trying to keep her secret about her horse, Twilight. The horse is magical and is able to change its form. Lauren is the only person who knows the magical words to change Twilight from a horse into a beautiful unicorn. She does not want anyone to know about her horse’s secret.

The problem is when Carla and Anna took Twilight out for a ride. Lauren left them to go catch sheep. They were not happy with Lauren leaving them behind . They were just going to ride in the field, but got bored, so they took Twilight and went riding into the woods. They ended up getting lost. When Lauren got home, she was worried that her friends had Twilight and were lost. She called Mel and together they went looking for Carla, Anna and Twilight and found them .

One event that I liked was when Carla, Anna and Lauren decorated and frosted cookies together. They decorated Christmas trees, snowman and reindeer cookies. They used green and red frosting and sprinkles.

The other event that I liked was when they went to a Christmas sale. The sale had ornaments and gingerbread houses. Carla bought a red ornament for her grandmother. Anna bought a gingerbread house for her mother.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes horses and adventures mixed together. It is a fun story about a magical horse that helps the characters in the book with their problems. The book was easy and fun to read.
