What is included in the Vehicle Rate? Standard liability where the hirer leaves a liability deposit of $7,500. This amount is debited to the hirer’s credit card or debit card at vehicle collection. This amount can be reduced with the purchase of the Liability Reduction Option or Inclusive Pack. Hire includes unlimited kilometres.

What is the Liability Reduction Option? $46 per day (max. charge $2,300). Reduces liability to NIL (exclusions apply). Covered for unlimited windscreens and tyres, overhead and underbody damage to the vehicle plus single vehicle accident (excludes single vehicle rollover). Credit/debit card authority taken (no deposit required).

Where are the maui branches located? maui operates branches Australia-wide and they are generally open 7 days a week, however this can change in off-peak periods. Branches are closed 10 April, 25 December, 1 January and 26 January. A $100 surcharge applies to rentals picking up or dropping off on National and State public holidays. Location fees apply

for Broome and Hobart. One-way rentals are available and one-way fees apply.

Is there a minimum hire period? Yes. Minimum rental periods apply. These are subject to change (please refer to www.maui-rentals.com/au/en/ or your local travel consultant for further details).

Do I need a special licence to drive? A current full driver’s licence is required. Drivers must be 21 years of age or older. International Driving Permit or official translation is required if licence is not in English.

Motorhomes are supplied with freshly laundered linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, plus a few extra little luxuries like wine glasses and a coffee plunger so you don’t go without on your holiday. You will also have all the general living equipment you will need. maui recommends soft bags instead of suitcases for easy storage.
