DIMENSIONThe dimensions shown are the outside dimensions, including handles, wheels, bottom glides, side pockets and other external components.All volumes are measured in litres. These measurements are carried out in Samsonite laboratories using Samsonite measuring procedures. Many luggage brands use a mathematical formula to calculate a bag’s volume (Volume of bag = H x W x D)/1000 litres). While logically sound, this method always overestimates volume. That’s why at American Tourister, we use the Pellets Method. Compared to the mathematical formula, the Pellets Method provides the correct, realistic volume.
