The Pivot Awning Protector is a fully extruded aluminium, powder coated protection shield which adds value to your RV investment!

While travelling, the awning protector cocoons your valuable awning from weather, sun and physical danger.

A simple lift action of Pivot Awning Protector allows the normal roll-out awning function to be completed!

The Thule/Omnistor W-150 is suitable for both caravans and motorhomes. The box colour is alpine white. In the rolled up position the awning is automatically closed.

OperationThe awning is extended and retracted manually.

InstallationInstallation is carried out by using the supplied adapters onto the existing awning rail or by using the rail supplied. An installation set for less stable caravan walls is supplied as standard. Not suitable for installation at the front of a caravan.

Thule 4900 (Wall Mounted)

The Thule 4900 is an economical and lightweight awning that stands out from the competition in terms of design and functionality.

All models feature a larger projection than the previous models, projecting 2.5m. Like other awnings in the range the 4900 is equipped with an ultra-rapid gear incorporating a brake system that prevents the awning from opening unnecessarily.

The Thule Omnistor 5200 perfectly fits any type of vehicle. Its design and look match the contemporary recreational vehicles design and is better integrated on the vehicle sides. This new awning is up to 3% lighter than its predecessor and is available in 7 different lengths from 1.92m to 4.52m with a maximum projection of 2.50m. The awning cassette is made of sturdy aluminium profiles that guarantee long lasting safety and reliability. Available in anodised, white and anthracite.

Thule Optional Tent/LED Mounting RailQuick Release Support Legs

Perfect fabric tensionThe sturdy spring arms with patented tension arms ensure a perfectly tensioned awning fabric and increase the wind-resistance. The patented tension arms are standard integrated for awnings from 4.02m length or more and are optional for a 3.02m or 3.52m awning length.

Thule Tent/LED Mounting Rail for Thule Omnistor 5200Thule created an optional tent rail for the Thule Omnistor 5200 to cover the gap under the awning which means that the wall adapters are no longer visible. This rail has two functions, you can either install a Thule tent or/and add a Thule LED Strip. The integrated tent rail allows you to easily install a EasyLink tent or to hang up the Thule Organizers with the Thule Strap Kit. The provided space for an optional LED Strip is completely integrated with the awning box for a perfect finishing. The optional tent rail is available in white, anodised and anthracite to perfectly fit with the awning colour.

Quick release support legsThe support legs are very easy to unlock and store by operating them at the outside and no longer at the centre of the awning. The support legs are dropped vertically from the lead rail to prevent damaging the vehicle wall. The inner arm remains blocked during the set up.

Perfect tensionThanks to Thule’s unique integrated tension rafter in the spring arm, the fabric is always well tensioned. The spring arm, reinforced with a double steel cable, automatically deploys the tension rafter to ensure the awning stays stable and resistant to wind.

Easy cleaningAs standard, the Thule Omnistor 8000 is equipped with its own drainage system. This is most handy in case of rain but also when cleaning the fabric once or twice a year with the Thule PVC Cleaner.

Easy and safeThe 220V AC motor with remote control allows you to open the awning without any effort. Settings are programmed digitally so that the frame always closes correctly. Plus, two safety devices have been created to prevent the awning from opening whilst driving and to operate the awning manually if needed.

The Thule/Omnistor 9200 is roof mounted which is the ultimate in awnings because of its combination of extra length and projection. The awning’s design ensures that it corresponds precisely with the line of the vehicle.

OperationFeaturing a massive 3 metre projection, the 9200 offers the largest undercover area of any awning. The electric version features an easy to use remote control. The awning is very easy to operate. The advantages are the user-friendly telescopic hand crank, the built-in end stroke that

ensures the fabric cannot be rolled up incorrectly, the Quick Release system for an easy release of the support legs and the well-known Quick Lock System for easy adjustment of the support legs.

ConstructionThe extra wide retractable arms have double steel cables for maximum fabric tension. Automatic locking of the front profile prevents the awning from opening whilst driving.

FittingA variety of mounting brackets are available separately.

ComfortTwo clips are supplied as standard for storing the hand crank. The support legs can be installed to the vehicle wall by using the mounting brackets supplied or to the ground.

Thule EasyLink Tents

The Thule EasyLink Tent is ultra light and has been jointly designed by Thule and Aussie Traveller to best suit Australian conditions. Made from a highly innovative lightweight tear resistant Riptop fabric.

Universal lightweight tent for awnings with a projection starting from 2.25m

Fast and easy set-up. The complete tent is in one piece. It easily slides into the caravan rail or an additional rail below the awning, and is easily fixed to the front rail/roller of the awning.

The sloping front panel offers a large internal living surface of maximum 2.50m x 3.60m.

A double ceiling is formed by suspending the tent below the awning thus creating better ventilation and insulation.

The front has integrated doors on the left and right hand side.

End wall windows are complete with mosquito mesh for optimal ventilation. All windows are covered with external blinds with zippers.

The EasyLink suits the full range of Thule Omnistor Awning Plus. Almost all of the other brands of folding arms and roll out awnings available on the Australian market.

Walls can be added to suit most popular roll out or wind-out awnings in the marketplace, as well as Aussie Traveller’s own Coolabah and Sunburst awnings.

Aussie Traveller walls are available in a wide range of traditional striped and plain canvas, light weight canvas – all in a variety of colours sourced from top Australian and European manufacturers.

The Textilene “Sunblocker” Walls provide an airy yet shady addition to your RV. They provide 60% light reduction while reducing temperature inside, perfect for hot days.

The Sunblocker is available in a complete wall kit or as individual walls. Its textilene fabric is outdoor furniture grade coated polyester fibre. Fully UV proof and exceptionally strong. Tested by us to ensure years of recreational use.

Anti-Flap Kit Aussie Traveller offers a wind and waterproof method to attach walls to your awning:

Aussie Traveller has designed the Anti-Flap Kit (AFK) (patented) to help overcome two of the major problems faced by owners of all brands of roll out awnings:-

• Wind flap

• Adding walls

The AFK breaks down to four individual sections (two pieces per end), which when joined together, form a full-length clamp. This full-length clamp fixes to the awning fabrics outside edge and helps prevent wind flap and includes a sail track to accept walls.

Curved Roof Rafter

Made to our exclusive design curve and shape, the Curved Roof Rafter (CRR) was developed to help overcome two of the problems users of roll out awnings face.

• It helps prevent wind flap in the fabric of the awning

• It assists water run off in rain

The Curved Roof Rafter is particularly effective when used in conjunction with our Anti-Flap Kit, with or without the addition of walls.

The Curved Roof Rafter is also available with a tensioning arm, known as a Curved Tension Rafter.

The Curved Tension Rafter is a standard Curved Roof Rafter with a tension arm fitted ideally suited to awnings 18’ and over. The lever action of the rafter allows it to exert pressure and help prevent longer awning roller tubes from bowing.

Helpful Hints

Using the recommended number of CRR will spread the load on the fabric at each rafter point (compared to using less than the recommended number).

Try removing the CRRs the afternoon prior to travel (weather permitting) and allow the fabric to retension overnight.

Various brands of awnings use different vinyl fabrics which may be susceptible to some stretch when placed under tension from the Curved Roof Rafter. Aussie Traveller takes no responsibility for any fabric deformity caused by the use of the Curved Roof Rafter.

Thule Kits

To help maximize the durability and life of your canvas, please follow the following instructions thoroughly — this will allow you to enjoy many years of the excellent service and satisfaction from your canvas.

Prior to using your canvas we recommend that you thoroughly wet your canvas with a domestic hose and let it dry fully in the sun. This is necessary to allow the fabric to settle after transport and packaging. Failure to do this may cause leakage in initial exposure to rain.

• Store, pack or roll up only when clean and dry

• To remove dirt, brush dry fabric with a soft brush. (An occasional hosing may remove dust and some ingrained dirt)

• Never scrub the fabric

• Do not expose to petrol or oil

• Immediately remove deposits of organic matter (such as soil, grass cuttings, leaf litter, bird droppings, vehicle exhaust, pollutants, etc)

• Remove any mildew, as it appears, first by brushing, then by treating with diluted chlorine bleach (typically 1 part White King to 4 parts water to achieve 1% available chlorine). Allow to dry in full sun, then hose well to remove any residue

• Do not use strong bleaches such as “pool chlorine”

• Do not use soaps, detergents, solvents or other liquid cleaners

Exposure to the elements and excessive cleaning may affect the waterproofness and appearance of the canvas. Occasional rejuvenation of your canvas is recommended. Additional proofing may help re-invigorate the canvas.

Only use one type of proofing agent on your canvas. Only manufacturer approved canvas treatments may be used on your canvas. (If in doubt contact Aussie Traveller to confirm).

VLP® Vinyl Repair Glue VLP® is a clear, high strength, flexible adhesive, designed to mend rips, tears and small holes on most types of flexible vinyl surfaces. VLP® is supplied in an easy to use 29.3ml Tube and its air dry formula that dries clear and blends with all coloured vinyl’s. VLP® actually dissolves the surface of the vinyl and creates an excellent bond when completely dry. On porous fabrics, VLP® can be used the same as on vinyl but actually penetrates the pores and creates an excellent mechanical bond.

VLP® has a high strength formula, stronger than the original vinyl. It dries clear in colour and resists yellowing, subsequently blending well with all coloured vinyls.

Thule PVC CleanerIdeal for cleaning the awning and tent fabric twice a year. Supplied in a user-friendly spray bottle. Contains no abrasive or aggressive components.

Thule Repair PatchRepair small rips in your awning’s fabric with the help of the Repair Patch. Consists of 3 self-adhesive transparent patches of 7.5 x 15cm.

Fabric materialThe Thule Sun Blockers G2 are made of Micro-Aired screen fabric, a transparent and light screen fabric which lets the breeze in, while keeping the sun out without losing your view. The front and side panels are available in different sizes depending on your awning length, projection and mounting height.

Easy installationThe front panel is suitable for all Thule Omnistor awnings and easily slides into the awning lead rail.

The side panel slides into an aluminium rafter installed between the awning’s cassette and lead rail. The side panel can be used at both sides of the awning.

Fabric materialThe Thule Rain Blockers G2 are made of high quality PVC fabric. The large transparent windows create a spacious feeling and keep the incidence of light. The front and side panels are available in different sizes depending on your awning length, projection and mounting height.

Thule Omni-StepsThe Ideal Help

Omni-Steps are available in 3 motorised and 2 manual designs, in varying sizes. The manual steps have to be operated by hand. The motorised versions are operated using a switch and conform to the EMV and CE standards.

The quality standards exceed European standard EN1646. A switch to connect a warning lamp in the vehicle is supplied as standard to help prevent driving away with the step out. The corners of the step are rounded for safety.

Optional: For optimal visibility, most motorized Omni-Steps can be fitted with a set of LED lights (1 set per step). The Option Electronic control box can be installed as an option. This ensures that the steps are automatically extended and retracted when the door is opened and closed.

The steps treads are made of corrugated anodized aluminium. The fastening frames are made from aluminium or plated steel.

All these steps are extensively tested in their purpose built testing facility to ensure safe operating standards.

Thule Omni-Vent

The Omni-Vent roof light is a modern and user-friendly product, which various European manufacturers choose to fit in their caravans and motorhomes as standard equipment. Even when this self-ventilating roof light is closed, it still has 100cm2 of ventilation. The Omni-Vent is available with or without the integrated ventilator.

TypesThe Omni-Vent is available either with or without a 12V fan. The standard Omni-Vent 12V fan is a user-friendly model. This fan has 12 speeds for both extracting and intake by pushing an easy to use switch. Also available as a retro-fit kit for existing Omni-Vents. The Omni-Vent ventilator is unique because of its high level of air circulation with a minimum of energy consumption. The product has been designed so that the ventilator can operate as quietly as possible at high speed.

ConstructionThe integrated hinge ensures that it is waterproof over the full length; also the large dimensions of the outer dome ensure that the water is drained away from the opening.

The roof light has an aerodynamic shape so an extra spoiler is not necessary.

All parts are made of weatherproof synthetic material.

The outer ABS fixation frame allows a good adhesion to sealant and thus ensures better water proofing.

SOG Ventilation

The SOG Toilet Ventilation System is an ecological solution for motorhome and caravan toilets. It is 100% chemical free and 100% odourless.

Surely the saving on the use of chemicals must be a bonus when you think what these chemicals do to our environment. You don’t need to find a chemical dump point and this in itself means more freedom when you are travelling around Australia.

There are four kits for cassette type toilets. Made with the traditional German engineering and know-how, this solution to a smelly problem will be an investment in quality of lifestyle.

• Additives are no longer necessary and optimal decomposition is guaranteed by the increased flow of oxygen

• The fast and powerful ventilator immediately removes odours by suction

• No more smells in the vehicle

• No further problems with the pressure of gases caused by decomposition

The ventilator is switched on as soon as the blade valve starts to open and is switched off again when the blade valve is closed.

No smells can escape the waste holding tank. As soon as the ventilator is switched on there is a suction effect

in the waste holding tank which draws in fresh air through the blade valve and expels it through the carbon filter. This downflow acts as a seal and prevents the gases and smells from rising.

The fresh air that is drawn in removes the new odours in the toilet bowl when it is being used.

The decomposition process for sewerage and toilet paper is accelerated by the increased flow of oxygen so that no additional chemicals are required.

No special toilet paper is required, in fact ordinary toilet paper is recommended for use with this system.

The exhaust ventilator with its motor has been specially designed for sanitary systems. The power consumption is very low at 0.43watts.

All SOG units can be retrofitted to existing Thetford toilet systems easily at home, no auto-electrician necessary!
