Welcome to our very first dedicated American Brochure.We have listened to a lot of customer requests for a comprehensive offering of American Confectionery, so over the last 12 months we have been actively collating a product portfolio offering the very best confectionery and grocery lines from ‘across the pond’. We are now in a position to be able to offer you over 170 products at very competitive pricing. We will be ordering the bulk of these lines on a weekly basis, hoping to ensure very good stock availability. As a family business, American Imports has always been in our blood, and was something our late father ‘Ole Arneberg’ always spoke to us boys about with great fondness. In the late 70’s and early 80’s he started importing ‘Tropicana’ Orange Juice for the very first time here into the U.K. he also had agencies with ‘big’ American brands like ‘Planters’ peanuts etc. So we would like to dedicate this brochure to his memory…. ”this one’s for you Dad!”

How do I place my order?Order by phone 020 8854 3500 office hours 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Via your territory Sales Representative if you do not currently have a representative calling on you, and wish to make an appointment to discuss your requirements or to make a regular sales call, please contact the office and we will be happy to assist you.

When will I get delivery?we despatch generally within 72 hours of receipt of order. We deliver on our own vehicles, delivery is free of charge, on orders above £100.00 excluding VAT. Orders under £100.00 we can still deliver but a £10.00+vat carriage charge will be applied.

Would you like a telesales call?Please contact the office, if you do not have a sales representative calling on you, and would prefer a weekly or fortnightly call, from one of our experienced telesales team.

We accept payments via debit and credit cards.Please view terms and conditons for details.

Our delivery area.Please view map opposite showing the area that we cover on our own vehicles, for deliveries elsewhere in the U.K. we ask for a minimum order value of £500.00 excluding VAT. Please note we will use a third party carrier for your delivery, please check with the office in case we would need to add any further carriage charge to your order.

1.Accounts

Please note that unless otherwise agreed with a Director of Auguste Noel Ltd, your account will be pro forma. This means that payment must be made before goods are despatched, or if agreed on receipt of goods. Payment can be made by credit or debit card, BACs transfer or cheque prior to despatch of goods or cash upon receipt of goods if previously agreed.

2.Payment

We can accept payment by credit and debit card. There is no minimum payment for this facility; however, the use of a credit card is subject to a 2% surcharge.

Cheques should be made payable to “Auguste Noel Ltd” and accompanied by a remittance advice.

Please quote your account code (detailed on invoices from Auguste Noel Ltd) as a reference on your payment so that we allocate it correctly to your account.

3.Price of Goods

Auguste Noel Ltd reserves the right to adjust prices any time prior to delivery to take account of fluctuations in exchange rates, higher rates of tax, duty or freight and increases in prices charged to Auguste Noel Ltd by branded product suppliers.

4.Delivery

Minimum Delivery £100.00 Net. Orders made under £100.00 net will be charged £10.00 + VAT per delivery.

5.Sale or Return

We do not operate “sale or return” of goods under any circumstances.

6.Claims

All claims, including claims for damages and shortages must be recorded on the delivery note at time of delivery or reported to Auguste Noel Ltd in writing within 48 hours of delivery. All claims made outside of this period will not be upheld. Auguste Noel Ltd reserve the right to ask for photographic evidence in order to uphold claims for damages. All products must be returned to Auguste Noel Ltd in order for credit to be issued, unless previously agreed.

7.Title

All products remain the property of Auguste Noel Ltd until full payment has been received. Auguste Noel Ltd reserves the right to remove any goods that have not been paid for in full.

By ordering any goods from Auguste Noel Limited, the customer accepts these conditions of sale regardless of any previous agreements, unless confirmed in writing by Auguste Noel Limited.
