Just a Thought
People might think: Why would you stop what-ever you’re doing and go sit in a chapel? For what? For a piece of bread? It sounds pre-posterous! If the Most Blessed Sacrament is only a piece of bread, then, yes, of course it is nonsense to interrupt your day to run over to the Adoration. But if the Most Blessed Sacra-ment is the living, loving, life-giving God of the Universe, then it’s the height of wisdom. Jesus said to His apostles, “Could you not watch one hour with me?” Come and pray with Him. Come pray to Him. “Come to Me all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”(Mt. 11:28) Come receive innumera-ble graces from our God who cannot be out-done in generosity. (adapted from “Perpetual Eucharist Adoration”) Adoration is open 12 hours a day, 4 days a week. There is always a need for Guardi-ans. Please call Mary Evkovich 304-374-6170, Cindy Oliver 304-748-5093, Paulette Nagy 304-748-0688 Mary Snyder 740-219-4239 or Car-olyn Shaffer 304-748- 0766 to schedule your hour.
