Mr. Hill directed the leasing and property management of this highly
successful specialty retail development. Located on an elevated boardwalk
surrounding a 40 acre lake and adjacent to the intra-coastal waterway in
Myrtle Beach, SC the property is anchored by Alligator Adventure, House of
Blues, a marina, 2000 seat live theater, a Tiger Habitat Experience, and 15
dining establishments is one South Carolina’s most visited destinations.
SEARS TOWERLocation: Chicago, Illinois

Mr. Hill produced the retail strategy for the visitor center for the 108 floor
Sears Tower (Renamed Willis Tower) in Chicago, Illinois. Approximately 1.5
million tourists visit the Skydeck each year. The Ledge’s glass boxes extend
out 4.3 feet from the skyscraper’s Skydeck on the 103rd floor.
HOTEL DEL CORONADOLocation: Coronado Beach, California

Over a number of years, Rick Hill has provided a variety of services to the
Hotel Del Coronado located in Coronado Beach, California near the city of
San Diego. Mr. Hill provided retail enhancement strategies, space planning,
and overall asset advisory services to the 19 retail shops and cafes for this
world famous 680 room resort built in 1888.

Rick Hill has consulted several owners and public agencies over an 8 year
period on the Boardwalk, Coney Island, USA located on the seaside of
Brooklyn, New York. His work has played a major role in the redevelopment
strategy for America’s first true amusement park dating back to the 1880s.

Rick Hill produced the retail, dining & entertainment plan for Miami World
Center - a 900,000 square foot urban retail, and dining and entertainment
district which is currently under construction adjacent to the Miami
Cruise Terminal and American Airlines Arena, in Miami, Florida. The plan
successfully attracted Bloomingdales and Macy’s to the project.
REDWOOD CREEk VILLAGELocation: Redwood City California

Redwood Creek Village located on Redwood Creek which flows into San
Francisco Bay in the heart of Silicon Valley is one of the most strategic
and environmentally sensitive sites in the world. With over 1000 meters
of visibility on California State Route 1 the projected required a highly
innovative plan which was created by Rick Hill.
FOUR SEASONS PUNTA MITALocation: Punta Mita, Mexico

Strategic Hotels and Resorts, engaged Mr. Hill to evaluate a portfolio of
their flagship properties including the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego,
St. Francis Hotel in Union Square in San Francisco, Ritz Carlton Half Moon
Bay, and Lowes Santa Monica Beach. In a second phase Mr. Hill created the
concepts for seven shops for the 280 room Four Seasons Punta Mita resort,
located on the Pacific Ocean in Mexico.
BRIDGES OF SAINT PAUL Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota

Located on the Mississippi River, the Bridges of Saint Paul is a restaurant
and entertainment driven project in the entitlement phase. J. Richard Hill &
Co secured leases for 50% of the space including a 65,000 square foot AMC
Cinema, at 15,000 square foot gourmet market, and eight restaurants.
WAI kAI OCEAN SHOPSLocation: Honolulu, Hawaii

Mr. Hill is currently directing the concept development, master planning,
market research, financial planning, and merchant recruitment of this
dynamic retail, dining, and entertainment project located on the Pacific
Ocean between three resort hotels.
WIGWAM VILLAGELocation: Litchfield Park, Arizona

Mr. Hill produced the retail, dining and entertainment strategy for the
creation of a retail garden village connected to the historic Wigwam
Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Mr. Hill’s plan created a garden and park
environment for over 70 shops, cafes, and entertainment.
LINCOLN ROAD MALLLocation: Miami Beach, Florida
Project Size: 3 city blocks

Lincoln Road was the first conversion of a city street into a pedestrian mall.
Rick Hill has provided on-going consulting services to various property
owners that control strategic holdings on the street. Mr. Hill has advised
on matters related to historic preservation and protection of independent
retailers.
OLD POST OFFICELocation: Washington, DC

Mr. Hill directed the property management of this National Historic
Landmark Property for his client Wells Fargo Bank and worked with the Walt
Disney Company to create an interpretation center, themed attractions and
a 500 room hotel on the site.

Mr. Hill has conducted research and analysis of Lakeside Amusement
Park and has been a major proponent on the restoration, protections
and preservation of this National Landmark Property, which is the oldest
continuously family owned amusement park in the U.S.
MALIBU SHOPS AT LA PAZ RANCHLocation: Malibu, California
Project Size: 110,000 square feet

Malibu Shops located in world famous Malibu, California is one of the most
restrictive cities in the U.S. where new development is almost prohibited.
Mr. Hill was sought out by the property owner to create a highly unique
and community responsive shop and café strategy which has been highly
received.

Mr. Hill created the redevelopment plan for the retail mall at Peachtree
Center Peachtree Center, one of the world’s largest mixed-use developments
located in downtown Atlanta with over 8,000,000 square feet of hotels and
several thousand rooms; 2,000,000 square feet of office space, and the
Atlanta Merchandise Mart.

THE VILLAGE AT GULFSTREAMLocation: Hallandale, Florida

Mr. Hill produced the retail, dining and entertainment strategy for the Village
at Gulfstream Park, located in Hallandale, Florida on the site of the world-
famous Gulfstream Thoroughbred Race Track. A 400,000 square foot casino
opened in 2008 and a 400,000 retail and entertainment center opened in
2010.
MAIN STREET ROAD SHOWRick Hill is currently developing Main Street Road Show, a mobile and
temporary theme park, festival, mall, and brand showcase. Main Street Road
Show will operate at themed seasonal events for 60 day periods in major
metropolitan parks in the U.S. and Europe.
