LIMBIC SYSTEM The Limbic System is the area of the brain •  that regulates

emotion and memory

•  It influences

emotions, the visceral responses to those emotions, motivation, mood, and sensations of pain and pleasure

The Amygdala is important for making associations e.g. a certain fragrance often leads to a visual image or memory The same applies to a sound or sight – and so PTSD

•  Now  lets  go  back  to  that  dream,  desire  or  goal  and  see  why  it  will  or  it  will  not  manifest  for  us.  

•  Change  can  ONLY  happen  from  the  inside  out.  There  is  no  other  way  

•  Remember  the  Law  of  A4racHon  is  always  in  play  –  and  this  is  how

We decide to: •  build a business •  Lose weight •  Find a loving partner •  Do work we really love •  Make a million $

But the subconscious mind has deeply embedded beliefs attitudes, ideas and thoughts that are contrary to your decisions E.g. rich people are mean or bad

The amygdala keeps watch at all times. It is diligent about ensuring that you are only aware of things in the environment that support your beliefs

Life-changing techniques 1.  Hold  a  good  thought  for  15  minutes  (morning  exercise)  

•  Start  with  something  wonderful  that  has  happened    •  Add  to  that  from  your  graHtude  list  •  Start  with  15  seconds  and  work  up  to  15  minutes  

2.  Be  aware  of  your  thoughts  at  all  Hmes  (as  oZen  as  possible)  

•  Take  the  thought  out  –  look  at  it  and  decide  if  it  is  helping  you  or  harming  you.  Discard  it  or  keep  it.  (EFT).  The  giZ  for  humans  

3.  Hold  a  visualised  thought  for  15  minutes  (evening  sleep)  •  the  brain  doesn’t  know  the  difference  between  real  and  imagined  •  Ask  for  soluHons  to  problems  at  this  Hme  

4.  Choosing  happiness  -­‐    first  joy,  then  dreams  fulfilled  •  “I  choose  to  be  happy  now”  •  “I  accept  what  is  now”  

5.  Surrender  and  then  take  acHon  –  listen  to  the  inner  voice
