    Oak Trace News Week of April 19, 2019 • • (317) 867-6400

Message from Mrs. Lynch Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week! I’m happy to share some staffing news! Our fabulous first grade teacher, Mrs. Stovall, will be moving into the art position next school year! For those of you who know Mrs. Stovall well, you know how artistic and creative she is. She is excited about this new role and getting to see all of our Oak Trace kids!

It’s that time of year to start planning for next year. I’ll be accepting letters with your child’s learning style and information that might be helpful for classroom placement through April.

There are still spots available for Monday’s annual spring blood drive with the Indiana Blood Center. Please consider giving the gift of LIFE! You may complete and return the registration forms that went home this week, or email me at to set up an appointment. We have had many Oak Trace students, staff, and parents benefit from blood donation! Thank you for your consideration!

We start ILEARN testing next week in grades 3 and 4. Please refrain from taking your children out of school in the morning during testing times. Thank you!

Have a great weekend and Go Pacers!

    Mrs. Lynch

I had promised 3rd grade that we would do “Makerspace”, this week, since we had used our library time to practice for their “Economan” performance when everyone else got to do it! They were thrilled! Lots of creating and thinking happening in the library with “Makerspace”! I continued reading Because of Mr. Ter- upt to the 4th graders! I am pretty certain that many of them will want to continue this!
