Girls Scout Registration Event

Girls Scouts of Central IN are having a registration event on November 8th starting

at 5:00 pm at the Southport Library located at 2630 E. Stop 11 Rd. This event is open to all Perry Township

Reminder: School Smiles On-Site Dental Program will be at the school on

November 15th and 16th so please turn in your forms if you want your child to

be seen. There are a few extra forms in the clinic if your child needs a new one!

2. Date

3. If someone other than yourself if picking up the student please put the first

and last name of the person picking them up. (Please refrain from using just Aunt, Uncle,

Grandma, etc.)

What’s Happening @ the Southport Library Family Game Day: Saturday, November 4 12:00-4:00 Families and children of all ages are invited to drop in anytime between 12:00-4:00 to make new friends while playing board games or solving puzzles. Lego Club: All Ages: Saturday, November 11 2:00-4:00pm Families and children ages 2 and older are invited to drop in anytime between 2:00-4:00 to learn to play and play to learn using Lego bricks and more. Lego bricks, Duplo bricks, gears and bristle blocks will be provided. Paws to Read Wednesday, November 15 6:00-7:30pm Registration Required Phone: 317-275-4510 Children who are reluctant readers are invited to read to Abbey, a regis-tered therapy dog. This activity can help readers improve their reading skills and self-confidence. Abbey can’t wait to listen to children read at the library! Participants may sign-up for a 15-minute reading session with Abbey. For Beginning or Reluctant readers!

Free Basketball Clinic for Perry Township Girls

Southport High School and Perry Meridian High School are excited to an-nounce a FREE UIndy Girls Youth Basketball Clinic at the Southport Field-house on November 11th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. This FREE event from UIndy Women's Basketball is for ALL township girls in 1st - 8th grade.

On Friday November 10th, the JGE PTA is excited to be hosting a new FREE event.

CULTURAL NIGHT This evening will give our JGE families a chance to experience

different cultures from around the world though food and crafts.

Look for the flier and more information to come home soon. We hope to see you there!

FUNDRAISER INFORMATION: Fundraiser orders started to go home this week. If you had a

large order you can pick those up from the office. I tried to call all the parents who needed

to come and pick up their fundraiser box. There is a delivery delay on some of the

fundraiser items. Those are expected in by the end of next week. Also, if you are missing
