PREAMBLE.

- Plastering to all areas shall be measured net, includingopenings, which are less than 0.25 Meter Sq.

- The price shall include for running rules , all narrow

widths, including joints on block walls or backing concreteface for key, for making good to frames around pipes andother fittings , plastering to jambs and reveals of openings,side of columns, window sills; all of which shall bemeasured as plastering . Rate includes metal anchorsbetween concrete and block walls and where necessary

PREAMBLE.

-All tilling works (terrazzo, ceramics and marble) shall bemeasured net in square meters. Deducting all opening andvoids more than 0.25 M.S.

Marble works for steps and treads of stairs shall bemeasured in linear meter. The tread, the riser, flight skirtingand water stop shall all be measured as a single unit inlinear meter.

- Marble works for window sills and other openings shall bemeasured in linear meter.

- Parapet coping shall be measured in linear meter.

Rate shall include preparation of surfaces under tiles mortar(1:3), sand-cement fill, Finish to falls and cross falls, specialtile pieces for edges and the like, tile surface finishing,plastic spacers. Pointing and cleaning and all incidentals asper specifications.

Rates shall include also providing and mounting in place“Premises Title Marble Plate” of white Carrara marblepolished, finished and engraved in the design provided byMoIA (dimensions 70cm high x100cm wide).

8.5 Electrical Switchboards

a.Supply, install and connect the electrical switchboards to the site, including all associated materials and labor, as described in the technical specifications.

b.Cabinets with no access from the rear, made up of transparent polycarbonate cells, or sheet-metal cabinets with a 25% surplus space.

c. The switchboards are to be placed on the floor, in a niche against the wall.

d.Main supply lines enter from the switchboard bottom, top or side, while outgoing lines exit the switchboard from both its bottom and top sides.

MECHANICAL WORKS9.1 Waste and Drainage System:

The Contractor shall, when pricing the rates of this bill, take into consideration including and allow for the costs or expenses of all requirements stipulated in the preambles, drawings and technical specification of the contract.

The Contractor has to provide complete Work-Shopdrawings for all related works in this section of the BoQshowing any changes maybe required for the bestperformance of the systems in this section. All Work-Shop Drawings has to be approved by the Engineer priorstarting the work in site.

The following notes should be considered when pricing:

1- The price shall include all required digging orexcavation backfilling and cement covering as specified.

2- The price shall include all connections to existingdrainage pipes.

3- The contractor must consider keeping the systemrunning in the building during the whole constructionperiod.

9.1.1

Supply and install (S & I) drain water pipe for airconditioning equipment drainage, and stand pipes. Pipesrun exposed and are fastened to walls and under ceiling,shafts, or pipes laid within walls and under floors. 9.4 HVAC System:The contractor shall, when pricing the rates of this bill take into consideration including and allow for the cost expenses of all requirements stipulated in the preambles, drawings and technical specifications of the contract. Also the contractor must consider the fact that this project is a running complex and must be kept as so during the whole period of construction.


Price of the following VRF Units include completesupplying, installation and commissioning for the units.Price of the following units include all required installationand commissioning works consisting and not limited to:

9.4.4

The unit shall be a singlecoil with drain pan made of stainless steel and with allparts such as copper valves, washable flat filter, multispeed electric motor and room thermostat with distantremote controller. The rate includes copper pipes ofproper diameters with 9 mm insulation and 10 cm plasticwrap strips, all the required fittings internally andexternally, flexible pipe for drain water to be connected tothe PVC A/C drain pipe in wall, electrical power andcontrol cable, and any other material deemed necessaryto complete the job.

The external units shall be in a location selected andapproved by the Engineer, they may be located in theoutdoor in a place not visible and away from theentrances, or the roof, the price shall include galvanizedsteel wall hangers or floor stands for the units, withhinges and locks.
