HISTORYThe band get it's name from the mystic Irish San Brandan, whom, in the sixth century d.c made a adventurous journey through the Atlantic Ocean and started the “Non Trobada” (“non-finded”) island legend, also known as San Borondón. The mystery of the island witch appears and desappears to the sailors in the sea, has always been a constant reference in the place where live the band : La Palma with “The Beautiful Island” as a nick name.

The clear cut of San Borondón out line on the sea, letting herself be seen only by the ones who knows the secret is revealed by the popular saying : “To see it, you've got to believe it”. In this way , the band refer at the miracle that happened in the lives shows; the certainty that somethings tangible, real and true is rising, powerful on the other side of the every day confuse fog. Like on a impossible island, suddenly the public found it self celebrating the magic moment of being absorbed and delighted by the Metis art.

Vrandan, like a “mystic oceanic” travel witness, transform the cultural shape of the Atlantic world into a resonant journey. La Palma is, without doubt, one of the epicenter in the cultural influence traffic from the old world toward America, passing by the African continent and coming back with the posterior afro-ibero-americain fusion.
