• As an athlete, I’m a dedicated believer in the idea that what you put
in is what you get out; therefore, If I commit 100% of my efforts into
whatever I am doing, then I can always be proud of the result.
• I also believe in not getting caught up in other people’s
expectations; I think it is important to know yourself, know what you
want to achieve, and then work hard everyday.
• For me, embracing the process is really important; Being able to
persevere with the highs and lows in sport is really important in our
team, and therefore having a robust, positive attitude is essential.

• I believe in my Career and I believe in Our Beach Volleyball
Teams.
• We are progressing; Our players are getting better, our level is
getting higher and we are striving to achieve higher than ever
before.
• I gain confidence from performance; Since competing
internationally, me and my team have beaten some of the top
delegations in Europe and been competitive with others. We’ve
made a difference.
• My vision is to carry on striving and only go onto achieve even
more on the international stage…

success; Take pride in what you have achieved,
and then use that to make sure you don’t remain

• Beach Volleyball requires a
substantial amount of travelling.
• Training camps abroad to
Greece and Cyprus have been
common practice in our
programme; these have allowed
us to accommodate to playing in
hot climates as well as train with
and compete against a high
standard of opposition.
• To continue to improve, we need
to train and compete abroad
more often. Travelling obviously
incurs a considerable amount of
cost.

• Competing at a high level is
challenging for an athlete;
Therefore any kind of
support is appreciated.
• Clothing, equipment,
discounts, sporting/lifestyle
products, athlete support,
publicity or funding are just
some of things that could
help me on my journey.

• “The separation is in the
preparation.”- Russell Wilson
• Professionalism in sport is vital for
success; I do everything I can to be
professional in my preparation and my
conduct.
• Facilitating this is more difficult;
Having access to facilities, having the
correct equipment and supplements,
owning matching uniforms/clothing.
• These elements would help take our
brand and our team to the next
level…

Beach Volleyball is infamous for
branding and exposure; logos
and company names can be
printed on t-shirts, shorts,
uniforms, caps, arm bands,
visors and thermal layers. All of
these can be worn both during
and in-between competition for
maximum exposure.

• Beach Volleyball revolves around a thriving beach/lifestyle culture;
played in exotic locations around the world, both on the coast and
within inter-city, the sport appeals to a variety of lifestyle brands
and products, particularly with regards to summer.
• Similarly, beach volleyball is played in all weather, only
postponing for thunder and lightning; wet weather gear and warm
clothing brands are also popular.
• Beach Volleyball is an elite performance sport; nutrition, strength
and conditioning and psychological preparation are crucial parts
of the game, as are the brands and products related to them.

• Provide corporate exposure at both domestic and
international events.
• Provide exposure at public events in the
Bournemouth/Dorset area, as well as in schools and
local organisations. (I recently conducted a speech at
the Opening Ceremony of the Dorset School Games.)
• Promote products and brands via competition, public
appearance and social media.

• In 2015, my social media exposure spread across
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Steller Stories.
• Approximately, by content was reached by 6,558
followers via direct followers on social media.
• This will look to double in 2016 due to the number of
extra events in the season on an international stage.
