A woven polypropylene membrane which is stronger than polythene and therefore remains effective for approximately 5 growing seasons.

Furthermore, the material is water permeable, whilst its tightly woven construction ensures the reduction of weed growth. like polythene, the material is

uV degradable to a recyclable material.

From recycled 100% Wool Carpets, this matting holds moisture in the ground as well as being a very effective weed suppressant. Placed face down the mats have a light brown jute face which quickly blends with the surrounding area. Being around 500 GsM the mat will last more than four growing seasons and is completely biodegradable. Available in 500mm x 500mm or 1000mm x 1000mm squares with a centre slit cut across on the diagonal so as to require less fixing pegs.

gripple root fastGripple Root Fast - this method of securing trees has many advantages over staking and is suitable for larger root balled trees. either by driving stakes into the ground close to the rootball then fastening wires between them or by using heavy timbers in the base of the pit to secure the wires to. The technique is easy to apply, inexpensive and invisible. Available in 2m, 3m and 5m lengths. (1 pair per tree required).

Anchor Kit Ratchet System. uses a ratchet strap to secure the rootball. This system had the advantages of not needing any timber or making to prevent the rootball being cut, and can be retensioned at a later date if required.
