ATELIER OÏFounded in Neuveville, Switzerland, in 1991 by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond, Atelier Oï has been striving to dissolve barriers between genres and foster cross-disciplinary creativity for 20 years. Over the course of their achievements, architecture, design and set design have intertwined on an international scale. Multidisciplinarity, team spirit and an intimate rapport with the material are their watchwords. Born of an intuitive and emotional affinity with the act of shaping different materials, their projects have been recognised the world over (winner of Europan 3, 1994; European Museum of the Year Award, 2001; iF Design Award, 2012; Living at Home Award, 2007; Product of the Year, Architectural Record, 2008; Long Time Design, 2013; Innovationspreis für Architektur + Technik at Light + Building, 2014; Winner Iconic Awards 2014; D’S Bronze Award 2014). Between experimentation, cultural exchanges and events devoted to their creations, they design for B&B Italia, Bulgari, Driade, Foscarini, Moroso, Pringle of Scotland, Röthlisberger, USM, Victorinox and Louis Vuitton.

CALMTempio’s clean lines and simple structure resemble an ancient Japanese temple, and give the same sense of order and calm. Two beams sit atop a flat bar to support the diffuser, which rests on top like a slightly curved roof.
