3. Affiliation certificate: Approved annual intake in all the courses is 126 and affiliated

to HP Technical University, Hamirpur. All the courses are duly approved by All India Council for Technical

Education (AICTE), New Delhi. 5% seats over and above of sanctioned intake under tuition fees waiver

scheme (TFW). 10% seats over and above of sanctioned intake are also being filled up under Lateral Entry

System. The admissions to the Engineering are made on merit basis of marks obtained in (JEE) and HPCET

conducted by HP Technical University, Hamirpur. Five seats in all disciplines are also kept reserved for

Physically Disabled Candidates under the scheme of Integrating Person with Disability by the MHRD , Govt.

of India. Seats are also reserved for SC/ST/OBC/Sportsmen/Children of Ex-Servicemen and Freedom Fighters

and the candidates from backward areas as per the State Government policy.

* Campus Placement: Being only Eight years old institute we are striving hard to attract the companies from various fields. For past year the students have been placed in companies like Wipro, Scope Telecom, eClarx, kapuria Technologies, CMS Solutions Pvt. Ltd., VT Technologies, Capegemini Technology Services India Ltd, Impinge Solution Mohali, Jaro Education Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai.

Internship: Students will have to undergo 4 weeks internship after 4th semester (Compulsory for CSE/Optional for ECE), 6 weeks internship after 6th semester (Compulsory for CSE/ECE) and 4 Months Industrial Project (Optional).

* Campus Beautification: About 2.5 km boundary wall around the campus is being constructed at the institution level. Around the campus about 260 trees has been planted in this rainy season.

* Sports and cultural activities:

1. The students of the ABVGIET B.Tech Pragatinagar participated in intra-engineering athletic and sports meet held at ABVGIET Pragatinagar.

2. The trainees of this institute are time to time participating in the different events in the renowned institutions.

3. Engineers Day, Teachers Day and Environment Day is annually celebrated in the campus.

4. 2nd October celebrated as Swachhata Abhiyan 5. Programmes for the eradication of cannabis is also conducted in the campus from time

to time.

Time to time various curricular activities has been organized by the college for the students

which include the following categories.

A. Annual Function: Celebrated Every year.

B. Tech & Cultural Fest: Celebrated Every Year.
