1 ATA CHECKLISTS—A MEMBER-TO-MEMBER SERVICE—ALPHABETICAL LISTING (A topical listing is also available.) Listings for January 2017 POLICY FOR CHECKLIST USE. All American Topical Association (ATA) checklists are the property of the ATA, intended for use by members and to promote topical collecting. These checklists are copyrighted and are not to be copied except by the ATA for distribution to its members. Portions of a checklist may be used as part of a philatelic article or column if credit is given to the American Topical Association. While every effort is made to provide accurate and timely checklists, the ATA cannot guarantee that these checklists are complete or error free. Questions on the use of a checklist should be directed to the ATA Office. Members finding errors or omissions are encouraged to send amending information to [email protected] to improve upon this members-only service. Please use the Stamp ID number in the first column of each list to reference suggested changes. Checklist titles are shown alphabetically. The number in parentheses after the checklist title is the number of stamp issues that appears in the checklist. If a checklist title contains the term “misc/other,” there are additional related checklists whose items are not included in that “misc/other” list. For example, the “Acting - Actors/Actresses (misc/other)” list does not contain items included on available lists for individual actors/actresses – Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe. The same is true for animals, presidents, kings, etc. See ATA’s Topical Checklist listing on our website for groupings of items related to the “misc/other” lists.
