UNCTAD developed valuation control module that is fully integrated with ASYCUDA declaration processing system
It is possible to use TSC (Tariff Specification Code) located at end of the commodity code with possibility to further identifies goods by brands and product – operates in two different modes

Pre-clearance mode – TSC controlled during declaration processing and becomes mandatory if they are flagged
Usually TSC codes are created for type of goods for which there are sufficient information (commodity code, country of origin and export, value details, commercial description).
When transaction value is out of expected range then corresponding declarations will be checked by Valuation Officers in accordance with WTO conventions

Post clearance mode – when there are no sufficient data about some commodities it is possible to be added to Post Clearance Value List (PCV) and be checked by Valuation Officer.
Valuation Officers can assign TSC codes to some of those commodities when they consider it belongs to that specific code.
