second
body

strange
sensations

gottenofftrack..andgetbackontrack.

rushes,vibrations,astralsight,etc
ExitTechnique#2.Thirdeyeescapemethod
ListcompiledbyJKL
Onceyouarecompletelyrelaxed,concentrateontheareabetweenyoureyesonyourforehead.This
isalsocalledthe"thirdeye"Ithasbeenlinkedwithpsychicabilitiesthroughouttheages.Inactuality
thereisaglandinthatapproximateareaoftheheadcalledthe'pineal'gland,whichhasbeen
believedtobethe'link'betweenthephysicalandspiritualbeing.
Stillconcentratingonthisarea,rollyourstillclosedeyesupwardtothisposition.Donotstrainthem,
itshouldnotbeuncomfortable.Onlyrollthemasfarbackasiscomfortable.Whileinthisposition
andstillcompletelyrelaxed,'will'yourselftoleavefromthisposition.
Donotbedissapointedifitdoesnotworkthefirsttime,oryoufallasleepbeforeyouproject.Keep

ExitTechnique#3.6:00AMinthemorningmethod
Setyouralarmclockfor6:00AMandgotobedbetween10:00and11:00PM.Whenyouwakeupat
6,walkaroundthehouse,watchT.V.,getonthecomputer,etc.for2030minutesuntilyoufeelfully
awake.Thengobacktobed,asyoudriftintosleeptrytostayasawareaspossible.Whenyoureach
thestatewhereyouarealmostdreaming,yetstillawake,thenyoucanletyourselffalltosleep.This
maytakeafewdaystowork,butyoushouldwakeupinthedesiredtrancestateabout550minutes
afteryouletyourselffalltosleep.Whenyoufindyourselfinthedesiredtrancestate,whereyou
cantmove
and
you
hear
vibrations,
you
can
just
roll
over
out
of
your
body.
Be
sure
to
get
away
from
yourbodybecauseitcanpullyoubackin.
ExitTechnique#4.The6FeetMethod
Soundssimpletodoasyoupictureyourselfabout6feetfromyourselfthen..transferyour
consciencetothatform.,lookingaboutyouwiththeeyesofthatform.Thenvisualizethepersonor
placethatyouwishtotraveltoo.Tovisitandcommunicatewithwhomyouwishtotalkto.
Thissoundseasybuttakesalottovisualizeyourselfinanetherbody..withallthedeterminations
youcanmusterandtransferyourwilltoit.
Somepeople
have
ahard
time
and
with
pure
determination
can
master
astral
plaining
while
others
havetolearntocontrolastheyhavewhatisreferredtoasalooseastralbody.

ExitTechnique#5.Affirmation
Yoursubconsciousmindisapowerfulthing,andyoucaninfluenceitbyrepetativesubtlenightly
affirmations.Theseshouldbeverypositiveinnaturesoastodecreasefear,andincreaseyou
subconsciouswilltoexperiencefullyconsciousastralprojection.Irecomendusingyourownwords
as
they
will
have
the
most
meaning
to
you,
however
here
is
one
that
I
wrote
that
I
find
particularly
effective.
"Iamaspiritualbeing,andAstralProjectionisanaturalpartofwhoIam.WhenIfallasleeptonight,I
willhaveanoutofbodyexperience,withnofears,andwhenIwishtoreturntomyphysicalbody,I
willdosoeasily.WhenIawakenIwillremembertheeventinfulldetail,andwithelation."
Everynightbeforeyougotosleep,recitetheaboveaffirmation(oryourown)toyourselfthree
times.Forsomereasonthreeworksbetterthananyothernumber.Morethanthreetimesseemsto
increase
loss
of
interest,
and
less
seems
to
not
have
as
strong
effect
on
the
subconscious,
and
after
all,thenumberthreeisbelievedtoholdsignifigantpower.Justbeforesleepalsoseemstobethe
timewhenthemindseemsmostopentothepowerofsuggestion,andinfluencetothe
subconscious.
ExitTechnique#6.TheAnchorTechnique
Thisisanotherpopulartechnique,whichproducesanethericprojection.
Thebasisofthismethodistofocusonananchorpointoutsideofthephysicalbody.Therearetwo
basicvariationstothistechnique thefixedanchor,andthemovinganchor.
Aswithallthetechniquesdescribed,adeeplevelofrelaxationisrequired,anumberofrelaxationtechniquescanbefoundhere.
Onceyouhavereachedaverydeeplevelofrelaxation(trancestate),youmustthenuseyourpowers
ofvisualisation.
ExitTechnique#7.TheFixedAnchor
Althoughnotmentionedasfrequentlyasthemovinganchortechnique,Ifindthistheeasierifthe
twomethods.
Afterreaching
the
trance
state,
focus
on
apoint
outside
of
the
physical
body
(e.g.
at
the
end
of
the
bed).Youcaneithersimplyfocusonapointinspace,oryoucan(andIfindthismucheasier)imagine
anobjectatthatpoint(itusuallyhelpsifitisafamiliarobject Ialwaysimaginemytobaccotin).
Onceyoucanclearlyseethefocuspointinyourmindseye,'feel'howsoliditis.Trypushingitaround
withyourmind,trypullingit,ormovingit.Thefocuspointshouldbetotallysolidandentirely'fixed'
whereitis.Noamountofmentalmanipulationshouldbeabletomoveit.
Oncethefocuspointistotallyfixed,imaginereachingoutwithyourarmsandgrabbingholdofthe
focuspoint(object).Remember,thisWILLNOTMOVE.Now,trypullingtheobjecttowardsyou,
gentlyatfirst,andthenharderandharder.Graduallyasyoupullyouwillfeelyourselfmoving
towardsthe
focus
point
(instead
of
vice
versa).
Finally
you
will
find
yourself
at
the
focus
point
outside
yourphysicalbody Presto,you'vedoneit.

ExitTechnique#8.TheMovingAnchor
Afterreachingthetrancestate,imagineanobjectabout6feetinfrontofyoureyes(assumingthat
youarelyingdown).Onceagain,makethisafamiliarobject.Now,feelthisobjectpullingatyou(like
a
magnet).
Once
you
can
see
the
object
clearly
in
your
minds
eye,
and
feel
the
pull
of
the
object
on
you,begintomovetheobjectslowlytowardsyou.Justasmallamountatfirst(perhaps6"toafoot),
astheobjectmovestowardsyoufeelthepullgettingstronger.Nowmoveitbackagain(thepullgets
weakerasyoudo).Nowrepeattheprocess5or6timesmovingtheobjectclosereachtimeand
feelingthepullbecomingstrongerandstrongerastheobjectcomescloser.
Onceyouarecomfortablewiththemovementoftheobject,begintheprocessagain,onlythistime
themovementoftheobjectshouldbeafluidmotion,andastheobjectmovestoandfroitshouldbe
likeawave.Youshouldalsofeelthiswaveonyourselfasthepullgetsstrongerandweakerand
strongeragain.Finally,astheobjectvirtuallyreachesyou,thestrengthofthepullingforce,combined
withthewavelikemotionwillsimplypullyourightoutofyourphysicalbody Wahay,you'vedoneit
again.

ExitTechnique#9.AstralArmsBreakingThrough
Laydowninacomfortablepositionwithyourarmsextendedaboveyourheadandbentattheelbow
atabouta100degreeangle,butstillrelaxed,andlayingonthebed.Takeamomenttocompletely
relaxyourselfuntilyoufeeltired.Closeyoureyesandpictureyourastralarmsslowlymovingupand
outofyourphysicalarms.Makesureyouarenotthinkingofanything.Justpictureyourarmsslowly

movingoutofyourbody.Asyouaredoingthis,pushupwithyourastralarmsashardasyoucan.
Don'tletthismoveyourphysicalarmorflexyourphysicalmuscle.Don'tthinkofanythingotherthan
theimageofyourarmsslowlymovinghigherandhigheroutofyourphysicalbody.Afterawhileyou
shouldbefeelingyourbodyswayingabit;don'tletthisdistractyou.Eventuallythevibrationswill
kickinlightlyandwhentheydo,don'tletitdistractyouorthey'llstop.Justdon'tthinkconsciously.
They
will
escalate
into
very
strong
vibrations.
Then
you
can
just
sit
up
with
your
astral
body
and
roll
overoffthebedtogetyourlegsout.
ExitTechnique#10.FloatingBalloon
Firstyoubeginasyoualwaysdoandassoonasyouhavethosevibrationsthenyouwanttogetthe
floatingfeelingright?Wellallyouhavetodoisthis:
Imagethatthereisalargeballoonfloatinginthe
skyaboveyou.Ithasalongandglowinggold
string
and
the
balloon
is
large
and
glowing
white.
Nowimagetheballoonfloatingdowntowards
you.
Atthistimeyoushouldhavethegoldenstring
attachitselftoyourcrownchakra,asifyourbody
wasaweightholdingtheballoondown.
AstralSexmadebyRevenantakaSlaygen
Nowbeginatthefeetandimagineawhitelightslowlyworkingit'swayupyourbodyasthiswhite
lightiscomingupthelengthofthebodyitshouldformintoaballshapeandgrowninsize.
Whenthelightistothetopofyourhead,imagineitleavingthroughthecrownchakraintothe
goldenstringandfromthestringintothe"empty"balloon.
Nowdoingsoyouhavefilledtheballoonwithenergy,thusgivingit"lift"power.
Imagetheballoonstartingtofloatintotheairandtrytoseethingsasifyouwheresittingonopof
theballoon.
Thisshouldhavetriggeredaprojection.
ExitTechnique#11.DynamicConcentrationMethod
TheparticipantwouldconcentrateonOOBE's,andletitconsumealloftheirthoughts,untilthatwas
theonlythingontheirmind.Onewaytodothisistothinkaboutitintheformofaquestion,orpose
aproblemthatyourconsciousmindhastoanswer.Donotanswerthequestionatfirst,justletitstay
inthebackofyourmind.Howeveryoushouldthinkabouttheproblemoverandoverthroughoutthe
day.Ifdonecorrectly,you'llfindyourselfthinkingabouthowitmightbepossibleforyoutoproject
atthemostunusualtimes.Sincethesubconsciousmindlikestosolveproblems,thisproblemwillbe
echoingthrough
your
mind
quite
often.
The
first
day
you
might
not
notice
anything.
But,
usually
after
thesecondorthirddayyouwillseeresultsfromthismethod.Anotherpartofthemethodisto

concentrateoneverysquareinchofyourbody,releasingitastrally,asyoudriftofftosleep.With
practice,youcangetoutmerelybywillingyourselftogetout.Thequestionpartofthismethodhelps
addfueltothefire,whentryingtoproject,andmakesitmorelikelyforyoutoprojectfromalucid
dreamintheinstancethatyoumightfallasleep.
ExitTechnique#12.
Counting
Your
Way
into
Sleep
SettingUptheExpectationofaSpiritualTravelExperience
Thisexerciseinvolvescountingasonegoestosleep.Thefirststepistochooseanumberbasedon
howsleepyyoufeelanddecidethatyouwillbeasleepbythetimeyougettothatnumber.Ifyouare
sleepy,choosethenumbertwentybutifyoufeelmoreawake,youcanchooseahighernumberlike
fifty.
Thenextstepistotellyourselfthatyouwillwakeupassoonasyouenterthesleepstateasthe
numberisreached.Youcansuggestanenvironmentthatyouwillwakeinandvisualizeit,orsimply
chooseto
be
standing
in
the
room
next
to
your
bed
out
side
of
your
body.
Thenbegincountingyourwayintosleep.
ExitTechnique#13.Creativevisualizationtechniques
Creativevisualizationmeanspicturingsomethinginyourmind,andisusedasformofconcentration.
TherearemanytechniquesusedtoinduceAstralProjectionthatinvolvecreativevisualization.
Beforeyoucanstartvisualizing,however,youmustbecompletelyrelaxed.Irecommendusingthe
bothprogressiverelaxationtechniqueandoneofthevisualizationtechniques.Severalexamplesof
visualization/imagination
are
included
below:
1.)Imaginethereisaropeextendingfromtheceilingtoyourbody,ataboutthesolarplexus(mid
chest).Fromtherelaxedstate,mentallyimagineclimbingthisrope.Feelasifyouareclimbing
upward,pullingyourconsciousnessalongwithyou.Don't'picture'therope,butinstead'feel'itasif
youwereinthedark.Feelyourhandsmovingoneoveraotherandpullingupwards.
2.)Imagineflyinghighintheair,likeabird.Manypeoplehavesaidthatduringalucidflyingdream
theyhaveinducedAstralProjection.Mentallyfeelthesensationsofglidingalongridingthethermals.
Then,tryto'breakaway'fromyourflightpath,andoutofyourbody.
3.)Visualize
an
object
about
3meters
in
front
of
your
body.
Distinguish
its
shape,
color,
and
size.
Next,onceyouhavetheobjectfullyvisualized,mentallywalktowardsit.
4.)Imagineyouarerockingbackandforth(donotreallyrock),feeltheimaginaryrockingand
graduallyincreaseituntilyoureachacriticalpointandrolloutofyourbody.

WhenIwasyoung,Iusedtolovetrains.SometimesIusedtovisualizethevariousthetraincars
designingthecontentsofthesleeper,diner,entertainment,andloungecars.Iwouldcreatemyideal
trainonthewayintosleep.Iwouldmovefromcartocardescribingandvisualizingelementsofthe
environmentsuchasseating,windows,andthecolorsandtexturesofsurfaces.
Sometimes,IwouldfindthatmydreamwouldtakeupwheremyvisualizationsendedandIwould
continuedesigningandridingthatidealtrainduringthedream.BecauseIenteredthatdreamstate
whileinvolvedinacreativeactivity,Iwouldsometimesfindmyselfinanexpandedstateof
awarenessandabletocontroltheprogressofthedreamtovaryingdegrees..
Thesevisualizationsandtheresultingdreamexperienceswereantecedentstospiritualtravel.
Gettinginvolvedinavisualizationthatcrowdsoutallothersensationsonthewayintosleepisone
waytoinitiatespiritualtravel.Creativeinterestinasubjectmatterisinmanycasesalessstressful
andmoreenjoyablemethodofenteringintospiritualtravelstatesthanalternateapproachessuchas
concentrationexercises.Paintersandmusicianscancomposecanvasesandmusicalscoresusing
much
the
same
technique.
ExitTechnique#15.Jac'sDualFocus:AuditoryandRespiratoryAPTechnique
Summary:ThisisthefirstofafewtechniquesthatIwillcreateusingaDualFocusmethodthatcame
tomewhilepracticing.Togivethistechniqueaserioustry,wouldrequireyoutotryitforatleast
sevenormoredaysstraight.It'sbestifyoucommitittomemorybeforeattemptingtouseit.The
threesectionlabelsshouldhelpinthememoryofit.Goodluck!
Technique:
PositionandComfort
Beginbygettinginyourusualmeditationposition.Thisisapositionthatonlyyoucandecidefor
yourself.It'scomfortableenoughthatyoucansleepinit,yetyouseemtobemoreattentiveinit
overothersleepingpositions.
Begintodowhatisnecessarytofindcomfort.Scratchthoseitchesthatwon'tsubside,openthose
fingersalittlemoretorelievetensionanddowhateverelseittakestogetyourbodyreadytobe
forgottenabout.
ThoughtClearingandInitiationofDesireNowclearyourthoughts.Thinkofnothingforacoupleofminutesotherthanhowniceitistobeso
comfortableandrelaxed.Clearyouremotionsaswell.Beforeyougofurther,youneedtobring
peacetoyouremotionsandfindenjoymentinthistimethatyouhavetomeditate.
Ifyouhaveafavoriteaffirmation,nowwouldbeagoodtimetosayitinyourmind.Itwillgetyou
readyforthefeelingofdesire.Ifyoudon'thaveone,youcanrepeatthisafewtimes:"Iammore
thanthisphysicalbody.IAstrallyProject.IwillremainconsciousduringthisjourneyandIwillretain
itsmemories".
NowyoumustinitiateyourdesiretoAP.AtanytimeduringthedayifyouthinkaboutAstral
Projection,youprobablythinktoyourself,"I'dlovetodothat."Atthistime,however,andforthe
restof
your
meditation,
you
must
have
adeep
feeling
of
desire
for
it.
It's
stronger
than
asingle
thoughtoraffirmation.Thisisafeeling,notwords,andcanbeaidedbyyourimagination.Thisfeeling

isalongthelinesofadeeplovethatyoumayhaveforsomeone.
InitiationoftheDualFocusBegintoslowyourbreathingtoarhythmthatisalittleslowerandalittlelongerthanyournormal
breathing.
Nothing
forced
here.
This
should
have
a
natural
feel
to
it.
If
done
properly,
your
breathing
shouldbecomealmostsilentandlessnoticeable.Maintainthisrhythmthroughtherestofthe
meditation.
Listenforaringingsoundinyourears.Itmaystartoutasaveryfainttone.Placeallofyourattention
onitandbegintoraiseitsvolume.Continuetoraisethevolumeofthetoneforaslongasyoucan,
higher,andhigher,anddonotfearthatyou'regoingtoreachapointthatisdangerous.Whenyou
feelthatyou'veincreasedthepitchandvolumeofthetonetoitshighestlevelgotothenextstep.
Doaquickcheckofyourbodymentallytonoticeifyouhavestiffenedanyofyourmuscles.Ifyou
haveflexedmuscles,relaxthemnowandtheyshouldremainrelaxedthroughtherestofthe
meditation.
Finally,throughtherestofthemeditationcompletelyfocusallofyourawarenesssimultaneouslyon
yoursmoothrhythmicbreathingandthetonethatyou'vebeenhearingandraising.Keepstrivingto
increasethepitchandvolumeofthistoneasyoualsokeepyourconcentrationsplitandfocusedon
yourbreathing.Donotgiveuporgetdiscouragedifatanytimeyouloseyourfocusofeitherone.
Justregainfocusofitassoonasyoucan.Continuethisstep,untilyoucanjuststepoutofyour
physicalbody.
ExitTechnique#16.TheGazingTechnique

Thisistobedonewhengoingtobed.Youneedsomethingtofocuson;ifitisinviewthemoon,the
stars,acrystal,afavoritedollwillworkwell...Usewhateveryoulike.

lyingonmybackbutfeelingverylittlesensoryinputfrommybody.IbecameawarethatImightbe
abletoleavethebodyfromthisstate.

imagined
myself
running
and
immediately
found
myself
outside
the
body
running
towards
a
brightwhitemarblewallmadeoflargetilelikesquaresectionswithablackskyinthebackground.
Afterafewmomentsofrunning,anothertransitionoccurred.Ifoundmyselfsoaringhighintheair
towardsabeautifullargecityonthebanksofadarklake.Thecitywasconstructedofthissamewhite
marbleinsquaresections.Theplacewasbuiltupwithlargerrectangularbuildingstowardsthe
centerandsmalleronesalongtheedges.Ithadanetherealqualityduetothelightingwhich
appearedtocomefromthebuildingsthemselvesorfromsomeinvisiblelightsource.Thebackground
waswasverydarkaswasthelakebeforeit.Thefeelingofflyingwasexhilaratingandthecitywas
majestic.
Thedecisionstotryrunningwasamethodofdoinga"dynamic"visualizationinvolvingmovement
which
had
the
desired
effect
of
blotting
out
other
physical
sensations
and
precipitating
spiritual
travel.

aftereffectafteryouhavegottenoutoftheocean.Laterwhenyougotobedyoucanfocusonthe
effect,andinducethesensationalloveragain,andmakeitasstrongasyoulike.Thismethodisvery
powerful,andcannearlythrowyououtofbodyifitisdirectedcorrectly.Anothergoodmovementis
jumping,orgoingupanddown.Ifindthatatrampolineisagoodexampleofmovementthatif
concentratedonlongenoughwhilegoingtosleep,itwillcauseyoutogetoutofbody.Iusuallystart
outbyimaginingthatI'mjumpingonatrampolineandwitheverbounceIimaginemyselfgoinga
littlebithigher.Afterawhileyourconsciousnessgetsfartherandfartherawayfromyourbodyand
youbegintofeelmoreseparated.Ifyoufocusonjumpingorswayingmovementslongenough,I'm
suretheycouldleadtoaprojection.I'vegainedtheparalysisandvibrationsonnumerousoccasions
bydoingtheimaginedmovements.

Makeyourselfcomfortableonthepositionthatmakesyouthemostrelaxedandwillallowyouto

Dealwithalloftheworriesthatoccupyyouatthatmoment.Ifyoucannotsolvethem,thenput
themasideinanimaginarybox.Iftheyworryyoutoomuchandyoucannotstopthinkingabout
them,thenyoumightaswellstopherebecauseyouwillnotrelax.
Beginbyconcentratingonyourhead.Examineallofitsmuscles.Contractandrelaxeachmusclein
theheadfortwosecondsindividuallyuntilyouhaverelaxedyourentirefaceandheadarea.Donot
dothisexercisequickly.Makesurethataftertensingandrelaxingeachmusclethatitremains
relaxed.
Continuebycontractingandrelaxingtheneck,andthenchest,arms,hands,fingers,stomach,legs,
etcWorkingfromthetopofyourbodydownwards.Trytorelaxsmallareasinsteadoftensingthe
wholebodyinonemotion.Thesmallerthatyoumaketheareasofmusclethataretensedand
relaxed,thebetterthistechniquewillworkforyou.
Whenyouhavecontractedandrelaxedallofyourmuscles,relaxforaboutaminute.
Inhaleuntilyoufeelthatyourlungsare85%full.Waittwosecondsbeforeexhaling.Exhaleuntilyou
feelthatyoucannotexhaleanymoreandwaittwosecondsbeforeinhalingagainandrepeatingthe
process.Repeatthisprocessfortenminutes.
Youshouldberelaxedbynowtothepointwhereyounolongerfeelyourbody.Ifyoustillfeelit,
thencontinuetorelaxusingthetechniquespresentedaboveoranyothertechniquethatyouare
familiarwith.Ifyouonlyfeelasmallpartofyourbody,thentryrelaxingjustthatpart.Yourbody
shouldfeelnumbandrelaxed.Donotmoveyourbodywhenitisinthisnumbstate.Whenyourbody

Thinkofthehighwhistleasasoundcurrentflowingupwardthroughthephysicalbodyandoutthe
topoftheheadatacertainspotabouttwoinchesjustinbackofthetopcenter.Letthesoundliftthe
innervisionupwardinarelativelynaturalway.Gentlystopfocusingontheinnervisiononthe

Here's
how
it
works.
All
of
our
bodies
have
a
natural
alarm
clock.
When
it
goes
off
on
the
weekend,
getuptotakecareofanyissues(likeifyouareslightlyhungry,havetogotothebathroomorneed
totakeaspirinbecauseyourneckistweaked).Then,gobacktobedasap!Also,onlygetuptotake
careofneedsifyouhaveto!Thelessalertyouare,thebetter.Itwillprobablytakeyouanhourtofall
backasleepbecauseyourbodyisnotexpectingthiscycle.Don'tworryatthispointaboutclearing
yourmind,oranythinglikethat,justletyourthoughtsrunwildandenterintosleep.Prettysoon
whenyoutryandwakeupthesecondtime(orthethird)youwillfindyourselftotallySLUGGISH!
You'llbeslippingintoadeliriumandyourmuscleshavegonetomush.NOWisthetimetodeepen

true.Togodeepermeanstothinkofnothing(totallyquietthemind)andslowyourbreathingeven

Just
last
weekend
I
was
doing
this
and
I
went
catatonic
and
started
having
lucid
dreams
(of
whichyoucanalsoprojectfrom).WhenIwonthedailyitwasbecauseIdidn'thavetogetup(itwas
snowingandIcouldn'tgetoutofmydriveway)soItookthatopportunitytooversleepandIhad5
projectionsthatday!Ofcourse,ifyouhavechildren,pets,noisyneighbors,busyplansforthatday,
it'snotgoingtobeconduciveforyou,butstill,it'sagoodtechniqueandsomepeoplehavecontrol
overtheirweekendschedules.
Weekendsareafavoritetimeforotherprojectorsaswell.RobertPetersonstatesinhisbook"Outof
BodyExperiences",page218,that,"I'vehadOBEsoneverydayoftheweek,butI'vehadmanymore
OBEsonSaturdaysandSundays.ThatisbecauseIhavethetimetopracticethen.Ontheweekend,I
canstayinbedlateandinduceOBEsoncemybodyisfullyrestedandrelaxed."
