ACCA in India

Most of the ACCA qualified professionals in India are employed with the Big 4s or MNCs.

India is stepping closer to globalization by introducing Ind-AS drafted on principles similar to IFRS. ACCA covers IFRS broadly in its syllabus which would definitely give an edge to ACCA members in India.

With the presence of many financial KPOs in India, has become a major outsourcing hub for accounting and financial functions

In India, average salary offered to ACCA fresher is between INR 3,50,000 to INR 4,00,000.

• They can work in various departments like accounts, auditing, compliance, finance, tax, fundmanagement and merger & acquisition.

Eligibility

12th Pass out Graduates

Students must have completed Class 12th

(providing passes are held in 5 subjects includingEnglish and Mathematics / Accounts, mark of 65% in atleast 2 subjects and over 50% on the others)

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Finance from a recognized University or an equivalent Degree.

If one does not meet the above eligibility requirements, he/she can start the ACCA Qualification by completing 'Foundations in Accountancy'.
