As an adult, it’s critical that you remain calm, and don’t overreact. Child victims are often frightened and confused, and your con-fusion and anger does not help their situation.Your concern and support, however, will affirm the child in important ways and can help begin the healing process for a child victim who has suffered at the hands of a predator.
