Accommodation

Students may choose to rent a flat through estate agents, share rooms with friends or schoolmates. Students may meet other schoolmates at the Orientation and consider flat-sharing while in Hong Kong.

Tenancy agreements normally include paying one month's rent in advance plus two months advanced deposit. Some estate agents may also charge a fee equivalent to half a month's rent.

In order to secure both parties, students should sign a one-year lease agreement with the landlord. Students should read the terms and conditions on the tenancy agreements carefully.
