New England College is a creative and supportive learning

community that challenges individuals to transform

themselves and their world.

New England College will be the most highly respected and

sought-after small private college in New Hampshire, known

for its innovative academic programs and as a leader in

experiential education.

Mission

Vision

New England College is a regionally-accredited*, private,

nonprofit college, that has been helping students achieve their

full potential for more than 70 years. Located in the quintessential

New England town of Henniker, New Hampshire, NEC is

passionate about education, personal and professional growth,

and the power of transformation, NEC is dedicated to providing

exceptional education to students from all over the world.

Today, that mission has been expanded to include adults

from all walks of life, with an understanding of the ongoing

commitments these learners have – to family, work and day-to-

day responsibilities. NEC’s faculty do much more than teach - they

are fully committed to providing guidance throughout students’

entire college experience and forming relationships that are free

of judgment, yet full of occasions for personal enrichment that go

far beyond the classroom.

Through an approach known as experiential learning, or learning

by doing, our professors incorporate hands-on experience into

the coursework so our students graduate with more than just

a diploma. Experience the guidance and support to help you

succeed, as you earn the same degree as on-campus students.

*New England College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education

(formerly the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England

Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.)
