A mood board is a visual collage of inspiration to help facilitate the beginning stages of a creative project. Mood boards are used by a variety of professions in a variety of ways; such as, graphic, fashion and interior design. For this assignment, you will create a visual representation of your design aesthetic. You must include a colour palette, typography, textures/patterns, and photographs. You must also include three words that define your design style. To complete your mood board you will be using Canva. You will be provided an in-class demonstration. After completing your mood board, download the file as a PDF and save a copy in your student folder. Write a one-paragraph summary describing your mood board. Then upload your mood board and your description onto your website on the “Assignment” page.
