To plan the storyboard I had to watch the trailer numerous times in order to make the ‘swede’ task. By

doing this, it gave me a better understanding of how my group

could recreate certain scenes in a different way. For example, in the

REC trailer there is a shot where an attic hatch falls down and swings. As we probably can’t recreate this we can use something like a door a leave it swinging. We will have to

improvise to the best of our ability.

I think the storyboards would be better if I had drawn in more detail and produced it in colour so some

shots would be more clear in terms of being able to tell what’s

happening without the text I added.

STORYBOARDS1st page of storyboard

The first storyboard is up to the shot when the two firemen enter the first room. This storyboard shows us the

two firemen jogging through the archway, them hearing the strange noise, then they go to investigate what it was, them running up the stairs eventually leading to them

walking through the door and into the room.

2nd page of storyboard

The second storyboard shows the rest of the trailer up to around 1:31. This is when we see the young girl

banging on the glass. We feel this is a suitable place to stop at as past 1:31 it isn’t clear on what is going on. As well as this we are covering the majority of the trailer anyway.

Hardhat/Helmet We might need to buy two of these from an online site such as Amazon or eBay if we are unable to gain access to these. We are probably not going to get access to proper fire emergency helmets so this is something we have to improvise on.

Hi-Vis Jackets We may even make these if we are able to pick up something like Hi-Vis tape or stickers. We are looking to acquire this item from school as we’ve been told that the reprographics teacher has them.

Gas Mask Depending on what we can get, we may resort to tampering with the mask that we already have in order to make it seem more like the one in the movie.

Hazmat Suit If we make it we could improvise by wearing a yellow hoodie and yellow trousers. As we are filming in the dark, the colour of the yellow shouldn’t matter too much.
