Assignment 13:Music, Locations,
Social ActorsLaura Cuk
MusicLinks Why is this music
appropriate?
Initial research
http://www.reverbnation.com/melaniefontana
These two songs were made for the documentary that I researched (Shelter Me)
Music for introduction(montage)
This song is a little bit more upbeat and would support the whole preview of the series.
Music for 2 minute development
Sol – Misha Mishenko http://www.last.fm/music/Misha+Mishenko/_/Sol
I think this song is appropriate because it be a slow pace background sound when discussing a serious piece of information from the documentary. For example archival still photographs of animals suffering.
Locations (initial ideas)
Ideas for
locations
Hyde Park
Mayhew Animal Shelter
Roundwood Park
Vets (Medivet)
Police Station
Butchers

My presenter will be filmed on the outside of The Mayhew Animal Shelter. They will start of filming the presenter outside then other scenes the presenter will be filmed inside the shelter.
Some other location will be outside local vets and other animal shelters.
My public interviews will take place in a local park where pet owners/lovers are with there pets. E.g. Shelter Me
Hyde Park
The experts who I will be filming will be filmed in their own department of the shelter to show their profession/role in the organisation. i.e. Police,Butchers,Vets, etc.

Social Actors – Your Presenter
Presenter Info
Why this person? Pictures of them
Name: MyselfAge: 17Gender: FemaleAvailability: All the time
I want to be the presenter because:• I think I could have that
capability of a persuasive attitude towards an audience to make them aware of the issues that
• I am going to persist throughout my documentary.
• I personally am against this issue.
• I want to make a change if all means necessary, and I believe I will have that approach to my audience.
PresenterRepresentation
The presenter is to represent someone who is simply used to guide through the documentary. The presenter will be represented as someone who is unbiased.
Costume/props
The presenters costume not to be exaggerated. The costume will be jeans, a white shirt which will advertise the documentary, white converses and no props will be included.
Body language
The body language would be open to form a relationship between presenter and audience.
Gesture Hand movement gestures would be necessary so that the presenter would come across naturally speaking instead of talking like it has been rehearsed.
Facial expression
The presenters facial expression would be warm and smiling to attract the audience. By having the presenter smiling, this will make the audience feel more comfortable and will make them listen to the presenter.
Speech The speech would be formal. The language will be standard English so that it would appeal to both target and secondary audience.
